In exactly a months time, it's the Local Elections Local means exactly that; look at the work that's been done locally. Here in Greater Manchester, we have some incredibly hard working Labour Councillors, who are getting results. They deserve your vote to finish the job off.

This is why we can’t have an honest debate about the triple lock. Because people twist what you say into misinformation (I don’t say the state pension should be means tested or cut, just that increases should be linked to wages not ratcheted up above it via the triple lock).

The Tories are in a death spiral I see ... Pretending Britain isn't broken and hurting vulnerable pensioners to preserve our bloated Socialist state is pure madness. The party deserves to go.

If pensioners want more money from younger taxpayers to fund their retirements, there’s a really easy way to make that happen: sell them your stuff.

@jan_murray It's not just football. It's all sports. I remember. I think it was one of the Williams sisters im not sure which one said they could beat a much lower ranked mens player & were completely humiliated. I am impressed you & Ella Whelan were able to keep a brave face at the time

You can see it with your own eyes. Watch an elite men’s match and an elite women’s match side by side. The men are, on average, quicker, stronger and more powerful - which changes the pace, intensity and physicality of the game. Saying that doesn’t diminish women’s football. It’s simply acknowledging reality. Men’s and women’s football are different - because men and women are different. This isn’t really about Williams - it’s about the kind of baseless arguments that get bandied around to justify men in women’s sports and spaces. Including by women themselves.
