Spent $110.00 in gas during the 3 days that we didn’t have our EV this week.
So very glad to have the Lightning back that costs me 1/10th of that per 7 days.

After several days with a brand new 2026 Ranger XL as a loaner, it’s heading back to the dealership so I can pick up my Lightning. This “little” truck changed my opinion on midsize trucks. It’s a base trim work truck spec so no frills other than the wheels and tires as far as I can tell. It rides great. Composed over bumps, quiet, comfortable on the road. I could actually see myself daily driving a midsized truck or having one as my highway beater. 1 thing I instantly missed was the frunk. Loading the backseat floor with groceries and kids at the same time is a no-go for me. I may wait for the new @Ford UEV now to fill that need.

@SawyerMerritt @nikkharris I think he chose the base trim on purpose, to dog Tesla. It’s no secret that he doesn’t care for Tesla.

My only issue with the review is that for almost all of his car reviews he chooses the top spec trim. He chose the base trim for his 2026 Model Y review, which I understand for highlighting affordability, but most people buy the higher Premium trims.
You get a lot of stuff for the extra $5k you spend to hop in a Premium trim.

I’ve offered my wife some very high-end and expensive luxury SUV’s, that are bigger and more luxurious, which we need 🤰🏼.
She’s not interested unless it’s a Tesla. Says there’s nothing more luxurious than be chauffeured around.

@BillsR_Electric @Tesla It’s been dubbed the “Cyber”SUV because it’s HIGHLY likely to be built off the Cybertruck platform.
If it ever comes, I’m sure it won’t be steel, I’m sure it’ll have a slightly less controversial styling.
