@pbendoscopist @OTavabie @NEndoscopy Last round of candidates for our HPB fellowship - 2 x UK trainees. Is there an interest? There will be a huge deficit in consultants providing ERCP let alone EUS. The elephant in the room is needing/wanting to train in colonoscopy. I gave it up.

@OTavabie @TheBileDoc @NEndoscopy Personal view - the training overlap between PB and hepatology is limited and both require ‘immersive’ training, likely to be separate from each other. Need to preserve option for future PB physicians to come from both liver and luminal backgrounds

This is an important point - whilst i get that whilst the constraints of SOT make it challenging to train in HPB medicine - it feels that this is a cohort forgotten about in this system - any tips for this group @TheBileDoc @NEndoscopy #fgdebate
