I just fail to see how it’s “more fair” for everyone to get one, when the stated purpose is to help combat the unrelenting heat. If you’re indoors that doesn’t exist. So you could argue by allowing it, in a temp controlled environment, they’re giving those teams an even greater advantage. I don’t have a problem with hydration breaks. I do have a problem with using it as an excuse to test out quarter breaks to allow X amount of commercialization added in. It’s disingenuous and against some of what makes the sport so wonderful.

@TheFullKitC @11Yanks To keep it fair every game has them. Tournaments like the LIBERTADORES have them as well for all games even games where it’s 45° at 11,000 feet of elevation in Peru… But there’s a short enough where you can’t do commercial breaks.
