@BrysonGray @DavidJHarrisJr Okay, that’s true. I had some facts wrong but after being asked to leave multiple times he became antagonizing and refused to leave. So was he minding his own business? No, that appears to still be an inaccurate framing.

@BrysonGray @DavidJHarrisJr Yes, that’s the core of the evidence that got him convicted. What is your understanding? It’s hard to get convicted of pre-meditated murder if you are minding your own business wouldn’t you say?

@BrysonGray @DavidJHarrisJr He wasn’t minding his own business. He was antagonizing and sitting on someone else’s property (chair). When he refused to get up, the kid tried to pull him off, then Karmelo stabbed him in the heart.

@DavidJHarrisJr Could be true, but doesn’t change the fact he stabbed someone. It does seem like karmelo was minding his business. And someone put their hands on HIM…but that doesn’t constitute killing him.

@SenRickScott @SubduedRadical We should stop wasting money, that’s true. We should also, at the very least, provide an opt out of social security. The returns on modern investment accounts are way better than sending money in to SS. But really, we should let it die like the deep state scam that it is.

Is everyone paying attention? We have just SIX YEARS before Social Security is insolvent. Congress needs to stop burning money on fraud and crappy programs, balance the budget, and PROTECT Social Security so we can keep our promises to American seniors.

@Everyday_Powers @grok @BasedMikeLee @RevHansen1563 Jesus wouldn’t have quoted Hebrew scripture in Aramaic. lol that’s completely absurd. He most certainly used the YHWH because if he went out of his way to specifically not say it then the Pharisee would have corrected him. A ridiculous stretch.

Jesus would have been speaking Aramaic and most certainly would not have said YHWH, even when quoting Isaiah. Even still you are resting your case on Jesus quitting a scripture and then taking about the Father. It is not explicit. Either way I am bored. You have been condescending and less than honest about why you were asking questions. I'm done.

Not really, it is clear that scripture doesn’t back up Mormonism. I asked for you to show me why you believe it and to back it up scripturally and you can’t. And then I showed you that Jesus himself attributes fatherhood to YHWH. Now you want to quit the conversation all of the sudden. The only writings that can back you up are extra-biblical. Simple as that. Prove it to me using scripture and I’ll convert tomorrow.

@Everyday_Powers @grok @BasedMikeLee @RevHansen1563 No it’s not a valid interpretation. That is what he did. He quoted a Hebrew scripture in Hebrew to a Hebrew rabbi. I showed you where and you ignore and misinterpret it because you can’t afford to admit it.

That's certainly a valid interpretation. I personally don't see that as Jesus explicitly calling God Jehovah. It seems more like he is quoting a relevant scripture. I understand why you are out the way you do. Your case would be stronger if when Jesus prayed or something he explicitly called God Jehovah. Either way, this has moved from "what do Mormons think" (which I'm happy to share) in to a debate, and I don't really see either one of us convincing the other. It's been great taking to you! Good bless.

@Everyday_Powers @grok @BasedMikeLee @RevHansen1563 In John 6:45 he explicitly is quoting Isaiah 54:13 which uses the name “YHWH” and then calls Him father right after. He attributes “the father” to the covenantal God of Israel consistently. Even quotes the shema which uses the name “YHWH” as the most important commandment.

I'm in my phone at work. You are asking complex theological questions. That require long answers. I can do this myself if you like. What do you want to know next? I haven't pre-tested anything I've asked Grok. And I thought it might spare is the accusations of me making stuff up or being called slippery.

@Everyday_Powers @grok @BasedMikeLee @RevHansen1563 Do you have problem speaking for yourself? I’m having conversation with you not grok. If you can’t back up your claims yourself then there is really no point in talking to you. I can just go talk to grok myself.

@ThePoliProphet @grok @BasedMikeLee @RevHansen1563 @grok can you answer his questions for him. I thought that was a specific word for the sons of El in the Old Testament, that would imply he was seen as the father. I think it is still in the Dead Sea Scrolls version of Deuteronomy explicitly.

Can you explain why this is relevant? because none of the “revisions” have anything to do with YHWH consistently being called “father”. El is actually never specifically referred to as “father” in any scripture. Further, the proposed “revisions” are actually all theologically sound and consistent with God progressively revealing himself from Abraham to Moses.

@Everyday_Powers @BasedMikeLee @RevHansen1563 I’m genuinely interested in how anyone could believe YHWH isn’t the father. We have the same Old testament as Jesus had and it’s an irrefutably a fact demonstrated consistently in manuscripts that “the father” is a description of YHWH.

@ThePoliProphet @BasedMikeLee @RevHansen1563 I'm happy to have this conversation with you, but it feels like you may be more interested in calling me slippery than you are in hearing my explanations. Are you genuinely interested in understanding how we view things?

If a mormon can prove their world view to me using an ESV, NASB, NKJV, or a KJV, I will convert tomorrow. You must use what I accept as scripture to sway me. That is the only way.
