@hand_habits Hey Meg! You taught me guitar when I was in college! Remember when you accidentally said in front of my girlfriend at Starbucks "See you Wednesday?" That was a really cool memory for me, I still laugh about it sometimes. I'm in Japan now, I'm happy you made it to Cali!

#100DaysOfCode Day 14: got my butt kicked by a leetcode medium today. Gonna sleep on it and try and solve it again tomorrow.

@TheRobInJapan The other day it saved my butt! I needed to share my source code with a coworker to see if they could rebuild it. GitHub actions told me before I could share it that I was missing a dependency in requirements.txt which made the tests fail. Yay :)

Learning GitHub actions—I want to make it a habit to put testing at the forefront of my code. It’s way overkill for my needs (small personal projects) but I’m enjoying it.

Got my vaccine second shot yesterday. Feeling tired and a very slight fever maybe, but that's it! I lucked out.

I wish I could show people my app in person. Maybe I need a video? 🤔

I got another sign up to Kichi today~! It's a cool feeling, having people I haven't directly met use Kichi to learn. Today's word: ひそひそ -> it's the sound of whispering. General programming advice: Typescript's "Record" is a super cool type.

It's kind of strange getting in the habit of tweeting because I usually only write articles. Responding to DM's is actually cool, but it makes my twitter look dead :(

I was reading manga with Kichi, and I found a word I want to share with you all. 嫁姑問題(よめしゅうとめもんだい) It is a compound phrase that means "A problem that arises between a mother-in-law and a wife." This actually exists in my J->J dictionary.
