@BringBackBanjoK @ferrants Fan curve prioritizing silence over thermal regulation, means it's almost always bad. Setting a more aggressive fan curve profile once you have custom firmware would be the next thing I do.

@BringBackBanjoK @ferrants If youve got the know how or determination it's probably worth opening it up, removing the heatsink, cleaning off the old thermal paste and applying a fresh set. As I understand it the stock stuff was cheap crap to begin with, coupled with age and abuse from the console

I’ve never been more tempted in my whole life to buy a PS3. I don’t foresee PS6 having proper PS3 BC, and I’m not interested in PS5’s PS3 cloud streaming. The concept of buying and modding a PS3 is WAY too strong right now. Someone talk me out of it.

@paasstah @vasocreta @Zeospantera Where as the stock senn pads stamp the velour under the plastic backing so it can't come loose. It's very disappointing

@paasstah @vasocreta @Zeospantera Dekonis pads IMO don't have any quality control. I've bought two sets of HD600-650 pads for my 6xxs and while comfort wise they're better than the stocks, quality wise the velour separates from the plastic backing so easily cause it's held in place with cheap glue

Another reason to never buy good headphones: you start caring about the ear pads because they make a difference in comfort and sound. But those ear pads are stupid expensive. @Zeospantera @paasstah remind me why you do this crap again?

@LapisRoseVtuber @solodoncos I don't even feel like it's a desire sensor. When farming sets for AR & SMG it rarely takes me too many batches to get what Im farming for. But I feel like blade and shotgun are just horrible rng.

@Synapse47207430 @solodoncos I would happily trade them if I could, cause I have more than enough blade edges to have perfect ones for Phaetusa and Sextans and still be able to give you one.

@JasonWander2 @solodoncos Yeah shotgun attachments also seem to have low RNG. I got all my perfect attachments for Alva and Robella months before they released in very batches. Recently farmed corrosion sets for Mechty and Peritya and it didn't take to much effort. But blades and shotguns suck.

@TheTrueCallen @solodoncos I've been farming for a perfect shotgun muzzle for months. Meanwhile I got perfect AR close assault attachments the first day. Like, WTF.

@solodoncos Im glad im not alone then. Though I feel like farming perfect blade attachments has worse RNG than any other weapon type in the game.

@TheTrueCallen i swear a perfect special link is an extremely rare drop chance
