This is disingenuous lie from a place of hypocrisy and maybe ignorance. The streetlights were temporarily powered by generators pending moving to the mini-solar grid. The reason why some are off is that they have been disconnected and are being joined to the grid. The light up project was never meant to run on diesel, the diesel was used to test functionality temporarily. He has said it severally that individual solar streetlights don’t last like the ones powered from a central grid. We all see this in our houses how individual panel to light doesn’t last unlike using inverter and batteries.
