@FPL__Raptor Even with FH33, is Szobo really better than a Gordon?

Salah to Wilson, Szoboszlai or Palmer with my 1 FT. Given I’d like to FH33, WC35, leaning towards Wilson or Szoboszlai. Probably just buying Wilson as I don’t particularly want to back against him this week and I like his fixture in GW34.

I’ve been playing FPL long enough (~18 years) to notice the same conflicting narratives people create to justify their biases, over and over again. Player X starts midweek Narrative A: He’s nailed and important to the team, great news for the weekend. Narrative B: He’ll be rested. Player Y blanks for a few gameweeks Narrative A: He’s due, keep. Narrative B: He’s useless, sell. Player Z’s underlying stats (xG/xA) look great Narrative A: The points will come, keep him. Narrative B: He’s wasteful. It’s funny how the exact same information can be twisted to support whatever decision you already wanted to make.

They spent all week trying to tell us they'd beat 2008 Manchester United and couldn't even beat 2026 Manchester United. 😭
