Alex’s standing medium punch is absurd. It’s huge, +0 on block, & most importantly: you can hit confirm it into his target combo (which leads to +5 Okie): - you can meaty throw or jab. - If you Jab it’s +2 on block so tick throwing after the jab beats 4f jabs - jab into lariat here is a true block string (usually 1 frame gap). The Lariat is +3 & puts you in the perfect range for Strike / Command Grab mix up -canceling the initial dash into hop makes DP and Drive Reversal whiff. Jabs also whiff. Also puts the opponent in a very awkward position #SF6 #SF6_ALEX #StreetFighter6 #スト6

@TwoMixups Yeah I didn’t realize others were finding it so doable! Skill issue (and possibly dyspraxia issue) on my part. I will have to practice it more and then worst case scenario, I just can’t do it.

For Ed, I had to replace the cr. lk with a cr. lp since he's a bit of a weirdo. But doing corner to corner is kinda his specialty, another challenge in the bag!

Watch Your Toes Challenge! Rules: - Start in left corner with exactly 2 Super bars - Start Akuma with 65% HP - Make him block something plus on block then attempt a reversal backdash - Hit him with any LOW button into combo then chase him down - Make Akuma walk back on wake up - Open him up with a crouching LK then KILL him! - No Critical Arts but SA3 is OK! - No Counter Hits or Punish Counters! To make this more fun. I'm not going to show the solution for Sagat until 24 hours from now. Let's see if you can do this with your character 🐯

@ssshuckle @broskiFGC Made a few patches ago, so some things will have changed. But yeah, having a 6f medium drastically changes your dmg on DRev punish

@broskiFGC The difference in Akuma getting to punish drive reversal with crMP > stHP xx hydrogen bomb vs some characters just like doing a jab into medium is pretty wild

@iMeteox @RushdownX Renaming master to something more accurate could help the issue. Like add an emerald rank or something where the MR system begins. "Master" doesn't require any mastery at the moment.

@RushdownX That design is entirely intentional to help newcomers deal better with the stress of ranked matches. It gives a sense of progression to players even if they aren't skilled yet. While I agree that it could've been done better, Master+ already is the answer for the problem.

Unironically this is why the game needs a better ranked system. Game looks like a joke competitively when people are near “master” rank in 1 week. Idc that master rank is where the ranked ladder actually starts people don’t know that.
