SpsB is more than a signal peptidase! I'm excited of the findings in this paper and proud of the work from our team!

Latest preprint from our lab: Mis-localization of PBPs in Staphylococcus aureus gdpP mutant contributes to β-lactam resistance and surface protein cross-wall trafficking biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Very excited to share our latest preprint: a breakthrough in surface protein trafficking that we've studied for a long time. Perhaps more important is, the beauty of synchronized cell envelope biogenesis.

@Sook_Ha_Fan Unfortunately it is still common that institutions/departments use JIF to measure the impact of individual research. Try to emphasize the impact of your research in the cover letter and research plan. I believe that real experts will appreciate your work without reference to JIF
English

@WYuLab Fully agree. But one of the feedback that I got from my rejected applications for independent research positions was that my papers did not meet their high impact factor requirements!
