#IranWar‌ if Trump makes a deal, strait opens, tensions deescalate and there is peace and no nuclear for Iran, many in the media but specifically @TuckerCarlson @ComicDaveSmith and others would have to resign and vanish from public life. The commentary is deranged and embarrassin

@elonmusk @Ryandally08 If only you knew how low iq uneducated she was you wouldn’t even respond. They hate the truth being out there and just want to control the narrative. 99% of the world loves and is thankful for what Elon does and did with social media and getting the truth out there.

BREAKING: Australians will no longer pay $1.6bn in card surcharges from October 1. People shouldn’t be punished for using a credit or debit card. That's why the Reserve Bank will today take steps to end credit and debit card surcharging from October 1. This change will make a meaningful difference with Australians no longer paying $1.6 bn a year in surcharges, and small businesses will save $910m.

Australia’s endorsement of this action is inconsistent with our obligations under the UN Charter and the principle that the rules-based order applies equally to all states. The Prime Minister should not be supporting it. Advocating for the human rights and democratic freedoms of the Iranian (or any) people does not mean supporting illegal acts that increase risk to the people, the country, the region and the world. Often, we need only ask what the response would be if the roles were reversed - and Australia would certainly not support these actions against ally States. These double standards undermine both international law and Australia’s credibility. This action violates: 1.UN Charter Articles 2(4) and 51 — no armed attack occurred and no imminent threat existed, given a diplomatic breakthrough on IAEA verification was announced less than 24 hours earlier; 2.The Declaration on Friendly Relations (1970) and Definition of Aggression (1974) — bombardment with the stated objective of regime change constitutes aggression; 3.International Humanitarian Law — with reports of strikes on a girls’ school killing at least 85 children and over 200 dead; and 4.The Nuremberg Principles — aggressive war is the supreme international crime. Any response by Iran must also abide by humanitarian law and avoid targeting civilians. In sport meanwhile, FIFA is bound to support international law, has continually rewarded Trump and is now supporting violations against a World Cup participant while the justifications are almost identical to those given by Russia for Ukraine, for which almost immediate sanctions were imposed. Australians should be very clear that support for, or participation in violations of international law make Australia a target and increase risks to all Australians. While politicians often state they ‘don’t want to bring violence here’, they directly support those committing it — through weapons parts, funding, intelligence, statements. This is both illogical, and dangerous. Australia should support the fundamental rights of all people while remaining a consistent voice for equal application of international law. This keeps both us, and the world, safer.

You can’t call racism out of bounds and then hand it your preferences. Pauline Hanson has said there are “no good Muslims” in Australia. That our country is being “swamped by Asians”. These aren’t just words, and this isn’t politics as usual - and it shouldn’t be legitimised as such. Let’s call it what it is - racism. For generations, mainstream political leaders in our country have chosen inclusion over fear. That used to be a shared position of Labor and the Coalition. But it looks like that’s changing.  Australia is the most successful multicultural country in the world.  The Coalition needs to rule out following the lead of the SA Liberals, confirm that it will never preference One Nation, and help Labor protect this defining feature of our great country.

The crowd at Melbourne’s protest against Herzog’s visit today was the most multicultural & diverse I’ve experienced. It was a fully unified mass of people & the middle of it, an Islamic call to prayer made it a truly spiritual experience. I wish our PM felt it, but he never will.

@ImamsCouncil Absolutely proud of police who stopped this hateful behaviour. We are not a Muslim country and this was an act of intimidation by praying in the streets for no reason. This needs to end is no more tolerance for hate and no prayers on the streets fake praying

Australian National Imams Council
Australian National Imams Council@ImamsCouncil·
Imam Shadi Alsuleiman- President Australian National Imams Council (ANIC) statement at today’s joint press conference with ANIC & LMA. We are appalled and outraged by footage from last night showing a group of peaceful worshippers being pushed and treated in a heavy-handed manner by the NSW Police while in a state of peaceful prayer. This conduct represents a serious breach of religious sanctity. It is deeply distressing, unacceptable, and not reflective of the Australia we know or the values we claim to uphold. This outrage and deep concern are shared by more than one million Australian Muslims and many more faith leaders across Australia. The Australian Jewish community is hurting after the terror attacks at Bondi. We hurt with them and stand with them in grief and mourning. At the same time, we are also deeply hurt by the ongoing atrocities and genocide committed against Palestinians in Gaza. Human suffering must never be selective, and compassion must never be conditional. Israel’s President Herzog, a man implicated in war crimes and genocide, should not be welcomed in Australia. Allowing his visit undermines social cohesion and Australia’s commitment to international law, accountability, and human dignity, and causes deep hurt and outrage within the Australian community. We demand clear answers from the NSW Government, the Premier of NSW, Chris Minns, and the NSW Police, and we demand immediate action.

Good morning. The President of the United States was in the middle of the most serious child sex trafficking ring of the last quarter century. He is referenced not a dozen times in the case files. Not 100 times. Not 1,000 times. He’s referenced 38,000 times.

Don Lemon may be annoying, hyper-partisan against Trump, and surprisingly thin-skinned as he showed when he came on @PiersUncensored recently.. but he shouldn’t have been arrested for doing his job as a journalist, not least because he is already milking it like a dairy farmer.

Be brutally honest: Now that Don Lemon is on video clearly identifying himself outside the church as a journalist and distancing himself from the activists, are you still convinced he broke the law or does the evidence finally speak for itself? Yes or no? WATCH.
