$NVDA First post in a few weeks — will be getting to a regular posting schedule again starting this week. I am doubling down on Nvidia. I like that the market hates the name because either the market will be right or Jensen will continue to blow everyone away. This really does feel like one of the better risk rewards in the market, assuming the macro stays somewhat stable, and the core premise around this is that we simply don't have enough compute. Wenn demnächst der Sprit knapp wird, muss wohl rationiert werden. Oder der Verbrauch muss runter. Mit 100/80/30 statt 130/100/50km/h wären ca. 25-30% an Verbrauchts-Einsparungen möglich. Was sich im Geldbörsel bemerkbar macht und nebenbei leiser und umweltverträglicher ist.

What is the Present Value of TERAFAB? TSMC and Samsung make about $2 billion in revenue per GW of AI chips they produce. Nvidia makes about $10 billion and AMD makes about $6 billion per GW of AI chips/systems they sell. Let's assume that Tesla's TERAFAB economics are similar to TSMC and Samsung - so $2 billion per GW of AI chips. Scale this up to 1TW and we're looking at about $2 trillion of revenue. Now let's assume that Tesla is able to do this in 2035 - nine years from now - and that this $2 trillion per year doesn't grow. Let's assume a 50% profit margin. Let's also assume a 50% chance of failure - so there's a 50% chance of zero revenue & profits. If we use a 15% discount rate, what's the present value of this? Roughly about $1 trillion.

Elon Musk expects the world to produce somewhere between 1-10B Humanoid Robots per year in the future. Thats 10-100 times more than the current yearly volume of cars today. This is why Optimus will be a IRL "infinite money glitch."

NÖ sperrt Spitäler, dünnt die (gesetzlich verpflichtende) Versorgung seiner Landesbürger*innen aus & zwingt diese, nach Wien zu gehen, OHNE dass diese Leistungen ausreichend abgegolten werden. Wien kann das nicht leisten. Krauss sollte mit seinen schnorrenden Parteikollegen in NÖ reden 🤷‍♂️
