My main critique of flat earth for years has been, "what's the utility?", well I can finally get it. If there is more land out there to discover or to escape the matrix we're in, that's 100% the utility. Not only to the ruling establishment to keep us contained, but also to people who want to go somewhere else. There's a lot of utility in that.
