Fighting for the rights of our neighbourhood. Federal Policies are in place and COV mayor Alto is ignoring them.

The BC gov’s severance policy needs an overhaul, amid revelations @Dave_Eby’s former chief of staff Matt Smith got a payout of more than $270,000 - the equivalent of one day for every two he worked on the job. My latest in @TheOrcaBC @Glacier_Media: theorca.ca/commentary/rob…

🚨🚨🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨🚨🚨 The Plan For Pandora has been released. All of the grass areas on Pandora's 900-blk will be cleared of tents, and fencing will be installed. This will result in the displacement of those outside of @ourplacesociety. Where will these people go? "If only" @CityOfVictoria was opening a Harm Reduction Service Hub nearby. @_PrincessAve @Adam_Stirling

The brave men and women at the Vancouver Fire Fighters are on the frontlines protecting our community every day. I will always support our emergency services and make sure they have the tools they need to keep our community safe.

Investigators are looking to speak with witnesses or victims after a male was observed discharging a pellet gun at people in the 900-Block of Pandora Avenue on October 2. CCTV footage related to the incident has been released. #yyj Learn More: vicpd.ca/2024/10/10/vid…

⚠️whoa. Victoria residents voicing concerns over the Dowler Place Consumption Site were assured that SOLID, the operator, conducts criminal record checks on staff. Then we learned SOLID’s ED has a record for trafficking, was considered “violent”, and is now using a new name.

When I was 17, I took my friend to a safe consumption site because she was pregnant and we didn’t know where else to access safe, compassionate, judgement free and accessible healthcare, and it was the smartest decision I’ve ever made. This policy will kill people.
