"I am not a descendant of slaves. Don't even suggest it. I am a descendant of proud African people whose ancestors were enslaved and who fought it every step of the way. I am not a child of colonialism. Don't even speak it. My ancestors fought colonialism. I am not a slave. I am not a colonial subject. I am a lion, a fierce one, and I a going to control my narrative and not whisper, stutter, stammer or apologize when I tell it." Runoko Rashidi

@Sylcci @iamNeare Ikr? I can't believe that a human being would intentionally not want the best for another human being and then call his people the most civilised people on earth.

@iamNeare Sadly you are right. People don’t know their place in the scheme of things. Few weeks ago, an American official visiting India told his Indian audience that Us will never allow to develop India beyond certain level

In the Israeli and U.S eyes, they are the only Sovereign Nation and the only ones worthy enough to tell the whole world what to do and not do. It is insanity, but they don't know that.

@aether_waves @HollyGrayle So because they ended slavery in a sustainable way that didn't disrupt the social order of the then-British empire and cause eventual revolution and chaos, then they are evil. You are trying really hard to cope ...

Haitians killing their French slavers and declaring their republic did not end the Transatlantic slave trade, you absolute clown. Haitians had no capacity to end the slave trade because whatever navy they had would never have been even remotely capable of doing what the British were capable of. What TF were a bunch of Haitians going to do? Row out to slave ships in dinghies and throw rocks at them? Stop being fucking ridiculous. Britain ended the Transatlantic slave trade, and went into five generations of debt to do so. Frankly, they shouldn't have bothered, given how ungrateful you all are. (Also, how's Haiti going these days?)
Adémọ́lá.@OgbeniDemola

Britain did not end slave trade, before the abolition of slavery was passed in the British parliament in 1835, Africans in Haiti had already abolished slavery for life in 1804 and declared the first ever Black Republic. Immediately after slave trade ended, colonialism followed which the British spearheaded. African resistance ended slavery, not British benevolence!

@tradeWerkz @angeloinchina That is true... the thing is, very many things work in their system. They don't go bankrupt because of medicine or go into huge loans for education or have a huge homeless population.

@angeloinchina Aaah, the pleasures of living in a country where the government listens; a country that ranks #178 on the press freedom index and #76 on the corruption perception index and has the largest censorship apparatus on earth and the most political prisoners. Paradise.

The miracle of Chinese democracy >>>> Chinese government listens closely to the people through tens of thousands of annual polls and thousands of grassroots consultations, where representatives bring suggestions and demands to the CPC, which acts in accordance with the people’s needs. What people don’t realize is that the CPC is the people of China >> over 90 million members deeply connected to ordinary citizens, advancing people-centered policies all the way to the Politburo. Democracy in China is a unifying system, in the West it is a dividing beauty concept of deceit.

This took place in 2012, and by 2013 the cement cones had been removed. It prompted Guangzhou to initiate policy discussions on bridge space management. Today, the spaces beneath flyovers have become beautiful public facilities and green spaces that benefit citizens' well-being.

the US Epstein regime are such depraved cowardly scum that they told all their troops to go run and hide in offices and hotels among local Arab babies, children and women, actually using them as human shields, the propaganda they spout to justify the mass murder of Palestinians, Lebanese and Iranians. Every accusation is a confession. And notice how the NYT Zionist propaganda rag launders this actual intentional mass use of human shielding as a totally logical, rational and justifiable act, "they were forced into offices and hotels!", and even an act of bravery: "Despite being hunted by the IRGC, they will continue the fight remotely!" The very same authors of that piece and the NYT and entire media class have written countless pieces crying about OMG KHAMAS HUMAN SHIELDS OMG KHEZBOLLAH HUMAN SHIELDS OMG OMG to justify the mass murder of babies. You cannot despise these sub-human scum enough.

The approval of a Ghana-led UN resolution declaring the transatlantic slave trade the "gravest crime against humanity" in world history and demanding compensation for Africans has once again highlighted the seriousness of the enslavement of Africans. Here's a look at some of the Western countries that took part in the slave trade and their roles.

I honestly don’t care how many people you think died under past communist “regimes”. It doesn’t change the fact that everyone deserves food, housing, healthcare and the ability to live a dignified life. Capitalism won’t do this and it’s literally destroying our planet.

I AM NOT WORRIED That IMF & World Bank Recently Said Their Development Model For The Global South Has Been Wrong. We Always Knew Their Advice Was Not Going to Work. I am More Troubled With Africa & Nigeria Leaders That Accept Those Reforms Without Looking at What Can Really Work For Their People. They Are The Real Problem of Nigeria and Africa. How Can Any Nation Abandon Real Industrial Productivity and Focus on Reforms That Actually Kill Production? How Do You Feed Your People When You Depend on Others For Survival? Nigeria and Africa Are Cursed With Leadership and That is My Worry!

Built in the 9th century and later rebuilt in its present form in the 18th century, Derawar Fort rises from Pakistan’s Cholistan Desert like a wall of giant brick bastions. Its 40 massive towers, decorated with cut-brick patterns, were designed to dominate the horizon and remain visible from miles away. At sunset, the fortress feels even more unreal—part military stronghold, part desert monument, and one of the most striking historic landmarks in Bahawalpur. 📸 Syed Hasan Mehdi
