We were so lucky to have @karianneholt visit @PoplarTreeES today to speak with 5th and 6th graders. It was so amazing to hear the her true story that inspired House Arrest and hear about writing in free verse. Thanks to the @PoplarTreePTA for sponsoring this visit!

Grateful that our whole @RockyRunMS community enjoyed a full day of learning, art, and inspiration with @JamiesonV today. All students heard her speak and got to draw with her. Students, parents, & teachers came together to discuss her books in the evening.

Great information here! One thing I might add: there are exceptions to fasting for illness, medication needs, menstruating women, etc. No need to “police” or mistakenly judge our fasting students & staff! 😉 ☪️
