Students attending DoD schools across the world just walked out of class in a brave protest against the Trump Admin's Orwellian censorship regime. Instead of removing books from the shelves about America’s history and constitutional values, @SecDef should try reading them.

@TheThe1776 Here at NASJRB NOLA they closed the cafeteria for service members, so they can’t go get 3 meals a day, no idea how these members will get food. It’s aweful.. there is so much these soldiers need but let’s close down the food hall.

The US military deducts $461 per pay period from soldiers living in barracks for food, but an audit shows little of that money actually goes to feeding them. At Fort Stewart, in Georgia $17 million was taken, but only $2.1 million was spent on food. Soldiers, earning about $30,000 yearly, are left without adequate meals despite these deductions. This isn't DOD money; it's directly from soldiers' paychecks, and no one seems to know where the rest goes. It's time for transparency and accountability to ensure our troops are fed properly with the funds meant for them. @SecDef please look into this.
