On November 19, she was meant to travel to Austria to compete in the World Cup, and on December 5, she would have celebrated her 18th birthday. Russia murdered her last night.

Probable use of force violation. The officer in camo clearly "taps out" the squad of 3 officers, which is a signal to withdraw. The officer with OC targets the woman first, who is compliant and non-aggressive. The officer who tapped them out did not expect them to deploy chemical agents, as he was not wearing his PPE. I would have preferred to see more of the "before," however, the tap-out was a clear signal by the 4th officer that he was seeking to de-escalate. You can't give someone a face full of OC because they hurt your feelings. There are no indications that they are under an order to leave or that an unlawful assembly was declared.

After five days with no food to cook, our @WCKitchen team in Gaza is again cooking hot meals. Ingredients are very limited, and we won’t be able to cook for long. The people of Gaza need food, and they need it NOW! Children are starving, they are crying…let’s allow aid to safely flow in, put an end to this war, bring hostages home, a ceasefire….there’s no time to wait. There has never been anything like this. Trump and Vance look like children talking about accommodating Putin. Zelensky holds his ground and defends his nation… and the free world.

Here it is clear how far from reality the American president @realDonaldTrump is and how he lacks basic insight. However, if the US does not want to help a country that is defending itself and Europe against the terrible imperialist enemy Russia, that is its right. However, to say that Ukraine has started a war or to vote in the UN against Ukrainian integrity is a betrayal of a nation that is putting its lives on the line every day and losing them for the democratic future of the world. Trump is betraying not only Ukraine, but also the now-former American values, American history and heritage.

I don’t want to hear any Republicans talk about “freedom” unless they have the guts to call out Trump for the lies that he is telling about Putin and Ukraine. It was Russia that started the war, not Ukraine. Putin is the dictator, not Zelensky.

Never thought I’d see the day when the US voted against its allies alongside Russia and Belarus. Shameful.

@bdomenech Well it would be good if the senate manages to reject Gaetz. But even so, there are several blatantly unqualified nominees they should reject. If they reject Gaetz he will be the only one and the other foxes will be put in charge of the hen houses.

The WSJ reports this morning that there are 30 No votes on Matt Gaetz in the Senate GOP, so I don't think this is going to be a problem.
