#funfact Sydney Central does not require a HSR station. There would be numerous options to connect HSR with a metro station running frequent services to the CBD Time difference for pax would be negligible yet years and billions of dollars saved in construction

Hi @metrotrains all myki gates at Footscray platform 4 and 5 except the accessible one seems to be entry only no exit. And the Vline arrival display on bridge concourse has not been working for a few weeks.

@PierreVairo @VSBassoon I wonder if people on the Frankston, Werribee and Williamtown lines did the same thing when it went cross suburban for the first time

@VSBassoon pids say Westall. but many people out west would have no idea where Westall is. don't recall any station PA announcements 🤷‍♂️

11 passengers (ESL) at WeFo station refusing to board the soon to depart Westall service because ”it doesn't go to the city", preferring to wait 10m for the next city loop 🙄 urgh, this weird summer TT is too complicated for the average punter. bring on Feb 1!

DTP is proposing changes to tram stops along route 57 in North Melbourne to accommodate new G Class trams Most stops in North Melbourne would be amalgamated into key locations, although notably will not be upgraded to DDA standard, only better 'safety zones'

I've never felt so much energy and excitement for trains and public transport in my life before today, what a day to remember! A huge thank you to the project team who brought the Metro Tunnel together, I couldn't be prouder to call myself a Gunzel 🚇

@aussiewongm @Robs_au I think the need to group both stations under one name if the system can't tag those both as one.

@Robs_au Melbourne does that right now with a 15 minute window, the problem is that Melbourne Central and State Library are separate stations under the current ticketing system, and it considers moving between two stations a journey because normally you'd be doing it on a train.

How long until that gets changed do we think? In Sydney if you tap on to enter a paid area and then tap out at a different exit within the allowed time, that’s a tap on reversal, no charge.

Hi @metrotrains, the lift at Laverton station above platform 2 and 3 seems to have no cabin lights.
