Drupal was a tool that non-developers could use to build sites, it's not anymore. backdropcms.org/philosophy

@natefollmer @rajesh_dotnet @Creech You and I get how it works, sure, but Drupal isn't about us, it's about the people that use and maintain sites with it. The frustration with the switch was drastic enough to trigger the creation of the @backdropcms fork of Drupal 7.

@backdropcms And custom modules? Are there automations to adjust them to work with BackdropCMS APIs etc? As D7 EOL 1 Nov '23 approaches, folks may see BackdropCMS as a supported alternative to D7 after that date, as a fork of D7 to migrate to, over any new concepts in BackdropCMS.
