In 2024 the Police tasered this guy and then kicked him in the head when he was on the floor.
Zack Polanski was right to bring it up, the Police seem to think tasers are to be used to kick suspects in the head easier.

@stiofan_cork @BareLeft So when the pressure is on and split second decisions could cost innocent lives, all of these officers' training goes out the window and they just start booting the perpetrator? Not very professional and doesn't say a lot for how well trained they are. Headless chickens much?

Having watched this back a few times today now the initial shock is over, it's clear the Met are extremely sensitive to even the suggestion of excessive force being used, because they know how bad this footage is going to look when properly scrutinised.

This will not stand up legally.
Zack retweeted — did not issue a statement — a questioning of the seemingly excessive use of force.
The head of the Met, during purdah, wrote a two page attack as if Zack had said it.
It is clear involvement in politics.

Doesn't matter how wrong you think Polanski was, the Met Police Commissioner is either politically neutral or he isnt. This is a highly personal attack on a prominent politician a week before elections. Slippery slope

@bencsmoke @ZackPolanski You need to stop using Zack as a reason to deny there’s pockets of antisemitism. Multiple prospective councillors have said horrific things, including the Lambeth one. Zack has described the fear Jews feel as “maybe perceived unsafety.” The fact he’s Jewish is no free pass.
