@NBCNews opening fire? he fucking murdered people. the spider has won the hearts and minds of america
English

Kyle Rittenhouse, who gained fame for opening fire at a 2020 civil rights rally in Wisconsin, was hospitalized after he was bitten by a venomous spider, the noted firearms enthusiast says. nbcnews.com/news/us-news/g…

@NBCNews I believe the phrase you’re looking for is “murder”

I can’t go through this again.

@christopherrufo @StrategicWin5 Doug is a douche from Greenland. He’s not one of us… yet

@StrategicWin5 And I'll take a bratty rich kid who grew up to be a fierce advocate for the public good over a two-bit communist any day of the week

Spencer Pratt grew up in a California that delivered all of the public services in the background without much fuss, and consequently, one could live out the California archetypes of the surfer, the burnout, or the party animal, and it was more or less as depicted in the movies.
His fury is about his house in the Palisades burning down, but it's also about a California that has made the lifestyle depicted in the feature films and reality television shows impossible, regardless of wealth. The state's ideological capture has forced people who would rather think about casting decisions or a nightclub opening to start thinking about politics—which is good, because someone like Pratt has a better understanding of the California Dream than a rigid, humorless apparatchik like Nithya Raman, who views the state as raw material for an ideological formula.
Pratt is still an underdog, but his candidacy is a sign that Angelenos, who were famously apolitical, are waking up to the reality of political corruption and dysfunction. If you're in LA, vote for @spencerpratt.

@newstart_2024 This guy used to end his show by downing an entire beer while chicks bounced on trampolines in bikinis
Now he can’t handle an adult smoking a lil weed in the privacy of his own home
English

Adam Carolla made a sharp point on Megyn Kelly:
We spent decades winning the war on cigarette smoking… then turned around and basically told everyone weed is harmless medicine.
Now we have a generation that doesn’t smoke cigarettes but smokes a lot of pot — and it’s quietly messing a lot of young people up. Carolla said if you asked the average progressive mom whether she’d rather her teenage son smoke cigarettes or weed, most would pick weed.
We traded one public health problem for another, this time with a trendy “natural” halo around it.
I’ve seen this cultural shift happen in many places — the “weed is safe” narrative got pushed so hard that we’ve downplayed the real effects on developing brains.
What do you think — did society overcorrect on cigarettes and under-correct on cannabis, or is weed genuinely safer for teenagers?

@MarioNawfal @elonmusk He’s a grifter. He probably doesn’t believe most of the shit he spews for clicks
English

One of Elon's most vocal critics just bought a Cybertruck.
Brian Krassenstein, who has spent years publicly clashing with @elonmusk, announced the purchase yesterday.
His reason had nothing to do with politics.
He has a young family and the Cybertruck is the only pickup truck in America to hold both an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award and a perfect 5-star NHTSA rating simultaneously.
When your fiercest critics are buying your product because the data leaves them no choice, that's a different kind of win.

@malcolmkenyatta If it wasn’t for double standards you’d have no standards at all

@Matt0733 @DrAlmarielao You’re a douche if you believe this is real
English

@DrAlmarielao You’re a douche if you order something for delivery and don’t tip.
English

A customer orders food, pays for the meal, and delivery fee. The app updates to “Delivered.” Delivery driver returns, grabs the food, and starts walking away. The customer opens the door and asks, “Was that my order?”
The driver responds, “Yes, but you didn’t tip. If you want your food, go back in the app and modify the tip.”
That’s completely out of line. Once the order is paid and marked delivered, it belongs to the customer; no conditions attached. Tips are meant to be voluntary, not something forced after the fact. Behavior like this doesn’t just hurt one customer, it damages trust in the entire delivery system and makes things harder for drivers who actually provide honest service.

Obama: “The president shouldn’t have a bunch of side hustles that companies and foreign entities can invest in.” Trump has raked in at least $4 billion since taking office, which is why he’s widely recognized as the most corrupt president in American history.
