@JacquiOatley @Kayleigh_Mcx It's been the same for all semi- professional and amature athletes participating in sport, I personally took out an insurance policy, amateur football, that covered me for loss of earnings for 6 months. The NHS fixed my ankle and the insurance paid my wages for the 5 months off.

Also, @Kayleigh_Mcx is not entitled to PFA support/membership as she’s never played WSL football. So a full-time female international player in the Championship can’t pick up the phone to the PFA for help, yet male ex-pros can still be supported many years after retiring.

Dear pals, fank you for all your get wells. I'm truly overwhelmed by your kindness😘 Unfortunately, I had to be admitted to the vets today as I deteriorated. My blood & urine results suggest that I've more than a pancreatitus flare up, so please keep your paws crossed for me🐾🥹
