Interesting study by Markus Hipper showing that AFTER a perturbation while running (backward slip), runners become less economical. Wonder if exclusively trail runners experience this same metabolic change post trip given their experience (in tripping)? @isbs_conference

The @MarquetteU Biomechanics Lab was in Ramona, OK this weekend to record video at the World Athletics Invitational. It was an amazing experience with several world, area, and national records being broken. Thanks to all who helped - now off to the lab and geek out😀

@BrianUmberger Think of how many resources could be saved not chasing things that were found "not different" by others but not published.

Failed experiments should not be published. In this context, “failed” should really mean something was screwed up. Well-designed and well-executed studies that yield so-called “negative” results should be published, and they should not be considered failures.
