@AtindanaVictor1 I wouldn’t mind if it dips, it’ll be a buying opportunity cos MTN isn’t going anywhere

@chefabbys When will Ghanaians start prioritising healthy foods, chai

@Cleverlydey4u Mbuemo has the worst first touch i've ever seen in professional football, he's starting to look like a fraud
English

Bro they are just going to share all the money and eat it. We all know how this works. £250M is not enough to develop any useful AI, we don’t have the data centers to train our own indigenous AI so they will just buy Claude max subscriptions or build some nonesense using OpenAI, we will all see the results
English

@samgeorgegh @sua_nyansaa_ We don't even have reliable electricity, but you think we can power AI? It seems that many people misunderstand what AI truly is! It's not coding a website. You should have prioritized building nuclear reactors to support AI before considering establishing the center!
English

Who has been given $250m. Stop inflicting your ignorance and falsehood. Your understanding of governance is zero. You see a news headline that says Government will invest $250m in an AI Computing Centre and boom, Sam George has spent $250m. You claim to be a tech professional and expect an AICC to be built and operational in 2 weeks? And people actually take you seriously? Any way, more engagements for you. You are welcome.
Tech In Twi@tech_twi
This is how much I get paid on the platform and how much I have spent on even one of my cards this month. Also, I started that dating app with less than $3000, and we are still testing the upcoming updates. You took $250,000,000 for AI that cannot even respond to your prompt.
English

That is not what we need, you crawl, and walk, and run and then you fly. You don’t go straight to trying to fly when you’ve never crawled. When it comes to technology, we are still crawling as a country in Ghana.
We don’t even have a stable electricity or water supply but these people are going straight to spending millions on AI because it is the shiniest thing in tech.
English

@samgeorgegh The guy is confusing an announcement with actual spending.
A $250m project isn’t built in weeks. It’s planning, procurement, and phased execution. People need to learn...

@eddie_wrt The sun is not 7 times bigger than the earth, what do you take the sun for 🤣🤣🤣🤣 This is too disgraceful
English

@Samdork91 @SIKAOFFICIAL1 So after spending his own $2M you expect him to go there and also pay money? Eeei sister Habebat
English

@SIKAOFFICIAL1 This is not philanthropy. This is a $2 million investment in guaranteed permanent access to a government asset. That's a business deal dressed as generosity 🎯
English

@samgeorgegh @tech_twi As a minister of state I believe there should be more humility in your interactions and responses to the people you are meant to "serve".
To be honest with you, Ghana as a country doesn't need to spend $240M on AI, it is a misplaced priority of the highest order.
English

It is clear that after your dating app failed, you need X engagements to get paid. Keep using posts about the work we are doing, which you have zero clue about, to keep getting engagements. All your tweets are to get engagements to get paid. I am happy to give you the traction you need. Keep tweeting about me. What are friends for? Hopefully, this gives you more engagements. Cheers.

@famouslyrikin Instead of you rebuking them instantly, uu re recording.. uu re worse than the kids 🤮

@famouslyrikin You should be seriously sick in the head to post this on social media in the first place

Same with China, it shouldn’t be the case but it is human nature and we must live with it. Even in Ghana there is racism by people from the south against people from the north. As a privileged individual, it takes a conscious effort to not discriminate and be racist against people who are less privileged
English

When Africa becomes prosperous, racism against Black people everywhere will drop dramatically.
That's not wishful thinking, you can actually watch this pattern play out in history.
The Japanese were heavily discriminated against in America until Japan became an economic power.
Then suddenly Japanese culture was cool, Japanese products were premium, and the hostility faded. The same happened with South Korea.
Prosperity rewrites how the world sees your people.
Nothing else even comes close.
