@themagaking Argued with deranged leftists for years that it didn't matter much because as soon as it went to the supreme Court it would be overturned. Pretty sad day, knowing the country was completely unredeemable.

Did you know the Supreme Court rejected Obamacare under the Commerce Clause, ruling the government can’t force people into commerce? But then John Roberts saved it by calling the penalty a tax under Congress’s taxing power, even though Obama’s own attorneys argued it was never a tax to begin with.

@AnneOnymous0987 @All_Right_Now2 @alfkkifine What an absolute terrible take. The truth is many women's libido drops off after kids. If people would talk about it openly, without the immediate "must be the man" garbage, maybe we could actually save some marriages.

The ultimate double standard in modern marriage is the unilateral cancellation of vows. A man is socially and legally expected to fulfill 100% of his traditional duties, to provide, protect, finance, and remain strictly faithful. But a woman can completely abandon the physical and intimate aspects of the marriage for years with zero societal pushback. If he complains, he is shamed as needy or predatory. If he files for divorce to escape a lifetime of forced celibacy, the courts will take his house, his kids, and his income. He is essentially trapped in a legally binding roommate contract where his utility is violently demanded, but his humanity is completely ignored.

what opinion about men do you have that makes people feel like this???

It truly looked to me that the covid vaccine killed Sean Hartman. Sean died 33 days after his first covid shot with an enlarged heart and no prior medical history. Subsequent medical investigation revealed a build-up of spike protein in his adrenal glands. The doctor conducting the study concluded this caused a fatal drop in Sean's blood pressure. Noone else has offered a plausible account. Despite this, there is no recourse against the government that required Sean to take the shot to keep playing hockey. Funny how the government can negligently build a road but isn't negligent when they require a child to take a fatal injection just to live his normal life. I don't see a strong legal path available for Hartman here, but wish to plead with anyone who will listen to please act with restraint when imposing medical interventions on people you don't know the first thing about. Rest in Peace Sean. God lend your strength to his family.

BREAKING: Ontario Court of Appeal Dismisses Lawsuit Over Teen Sean Hartman’s Death Following COVID-19 Vaccination. In a significant decision released today, the Hartman v. Canada (Attorney General) ruling was upheld by the Ontario Court of Appeal, dismissing a lawsuit brought against the federal government over the death of a teenage boy following a COVID-19 vaccination. The court found that the claim had no reasonable prospect of success and agreed with a lower court decision to strike it in its entirety. The case was brought by Daniel Hartman, whose 17-year-old son, Sean Hartman, died in September 2021. Sean, who had been described as previously healthy, was found dead beside his bed 33 days after receiving the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. Following the vaccination, he had been taken to hospital due to symptoms his father believes were related to the vaccine. Sean’s father, Dan Hartman, says his son chose to get vaccinated so he could continue playing hockey, as vaccination was required for participation in many sports and activities at the time. Hartman’s lawsuit alleged that federal officials, including the Minister of Health, were negligent in approving, promoting, and monitoring the vaccine, and that they acted with reckless indifference or wilful blindness to potential risks. The Court of Appeal acknowledged the devastating nature of Sean Hartman’s death, describing it as a tragic loss for his family and community. However, the judges concluded that the legal claims could not succeed. Central to the ruling was the finding that the federal government does not owe a private duty of care to individual members of the public when making broad public health decisions during a pandemic. Instead, such decisions are made in the interest of the population as a whole, often requiring difficult trade-offs that may carry risks for some individuals. The court also determined that the claim failed to establish the necessary elements for misfeasance in public office. Specifically, there were no material facts showing that government officials acted in bad faith or knowingly engaged in unlawful conduct that would likely cause harm to Sean Hartman. The judges noted that the clinical trial data referenced in the lawsuit supported the conclusion that the vaccine was highly effective, undermining the argument that officials knowingly promoted a harmful or ineffective product. In addition, the court found that the public statements cited in the claim were directed broadly at Canadians and did not create a specific relationship or obligation toward Sean Hartman as an individual. As a result, there was no legal basis to establish the proximity or duty of care required for a negligence claim. Shockingly, the court also claimed that allowing Hartman’s case to proceed could have broader consequences, including discouraging governments from making urgent public health decisions during emergencies due to fear of legal liability. The Court of Appeal further upheld the lower court’s decision to deny leave to amend the claim, finding that the proposed changes would not have addressed the fundamental legal deficiencies. The judges emphasized that lawsuits must be based on clearly pleaded facts, not on the possibility that supporting evidence might emerge later. Ultimately, the court concluded that while the circumstances surrounding Sean Hartman’s death are deeply tragic, the law does not support holding the federal government liable under the claims presented. The appeal was dismissed, bringing the case to a close, with no costs awarded to either side. The Canadian Independent spoke with Dan Hartman by phone this evening. He said he is “seriously considering” taking the case to the Supreme Court and that he and his legal team will evaluate their next steps over the coming week. Hartman noted that the cost of taking the case to the Supreme Court could exceed $20,000. He added that he does not want to ask those who have already donated to his cause to contribute further but said, “What other option do I have?” Dan believes the courts are not willing to find the government liable or hold it accountable, as doing so would amount to an admission of wrongdoing. He also argues that such a finding would make his larger lawsuit against Pfizer significantly easier to pursue. If you want to donate to Dan’s legal fund, you can do so at the link in the comments section.

Trump just nominated Dr. Erica Schwartz as the new CDC Director. During Covid, she led a nationwide vaccine deployment and strongly supported mandates, including pushing the shot on both civilians and service members. At a time when trust in public health is at rock bottom, is this really the person to restore "gold standard science”? We need leaders who prioritize informed consent and medical freedom, not more mandates and unsafe injections.

The Rational Animal 🤔
The Rational Animal 🤔@theobjectivist·
This is the philosophical bankruptcy of a brilliant engineer laid bare in a single post. Musk proposes that the government pay people not to work because machines will do the working for them. This is not a new idea. It is the old idea of something for nothing, repackaged in silicon. Start with the economics. Mises demonstrated that production must precede consumption. You cannot distribute wealth that has not been created by someone. If AI produces the goods, someone still owns the AI, maintains it, directs it, and decides what it produces. That is not a post-work society. That is a society in which the producers have changed tools. The question Musk refuses to ask is: by what right does the government seize the output of those producers to mail checks to those who did not produce it? "There will not be inflation" because production will exceed the money supply increase. This assumes the government will print only enough and never more. This is the assumption of every inflationist in history. Hayek called this the pretense of knowledge. Mises demonstrated that no central authority can calculate economic outcomes for a dynamic economy because it lacks the pricing information that only free markets generate. This is not a technical problem to be solved. It is an impossibility built into the nature of centralized control. Now the moral question Musk avoids entirely. Man survives by using his mind. Work is not a burden to be eliminated. It is the means by which a rational being sustains his life, creates value, and achieves purpose. A man who receives a check for existing is not free. He is a dependent. He has been severed from the process that gives his life meaning. Rand would say Musk is proposing to turn every American into a ward of the state, fed and housed by the productive, with no purpose and no self-respect. Mike Lee asks the right question: why would you trust the government to do this? But the deeper question is: why would you want any institution, government or otherwise, to replace the individual's responsibility for his own survival? That is not compassion. That is the destruction of the human spirit performed with a direct deposit. Musk builds rockets because he refused to accept that space was closed to private enterprise. He should apply that same principle to the economy: trust free individuals to adapt, innovate, and create new forms of value, as they have after every technological revolution in history. The printing press did not create permanent unemployment. Neither did the steam engine, electricity, the automobile, or the internet. Each one destroyed old jobs and created new ones that no one could have predicted. AI will do the same, if the government stays out of the way. Universal High Income is not the future. It is the end of the future, paid for monthly.
Elon Musk@elonmusk

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

It's so obviously the only way forward. People are still not getting the absurd amount of wealth that AI and automation will bring. The gatekeepers of this tech could hoard all such wealth like large corporations typically do, except this time that would cause the collapse of society and people would rise up to kill them, instead it is FAR more in their self interest to simple give a large piece of the pie to society, and as it turns out, a large piece of what is an almost infinite pie is not a big ask. UHI is merely how post scarcity wealth will be shared, the cost of living will plummet via automation, profits of major companies will explode, and the US gov simply need to tax the largest companies to pay for all of it.

Carville says the quiet part out loud: "Don't run on it. Don't talk about it. Just do it." That is not a political strategy. That is the confession of a man who knows his agenda cannot survive rational scrutiny. Pack the Supreme Court to 13. Add DC and Puerto Rico as states to manufacture four guaranteed Senate seats. Not because justice demands it. Because power does. A free constitutional republic rests on one premise: that government is constrained by individual rights, that no majority, however large, may seize the machinery of governance to perpetuate itself. What the Democrats are planning is the exact opposite of that principle. This is not "saving democracy." It is the logic of every collectivist movement in history. Use the forms of law to destroy the substance of law. They want structural dominance: permanent, unchallengeable, built in silence before the public can object. Except @JamesCarville is so stupid he's saying it out loud. Reason demands we name this clearly: it is the will to rule, stripped of moral justification. And they are telling you openly not to let you know until it is done. foxnews.com/media/carville…
