Manhattan: East 14th St & Broadway, achaotic altercation unfolded yesterday afternoon around 4:30 p.m. on an L train at the 14 St–Union Square subway station in Manhattan. The incident began when a young couple attempted to sit in a newly opened space on the crowded train. They believed nearby passengers, including an older man, were deliberately taking up space to prevent them from sitting. The young man became loud and agitated, threatening to slap someone on the train. The older man stood up, confronting him and accepting the challenge, leading to a physical altercation between the two men. During the ongoing fight, the young woman slapped the older man on the top of his head. She then attempted to mace (pepper spray) the older man, but accidentally sprayed herself instead, missing her target. The fight broke up after commuters mixed in and separated the two people.

PRISCILLA'S LAW NOW! This is a woman that was hit by a biker that didn’t stop for a red light at 40th St & Queens Blvd. She was crossing from the Lowery St. Subway Station. The bicyclist was “filtering” through traffic that was stopped for the light. The NYPD Officer that was on scene let the bicyclist go, allegedly because he was a minor. She needed an ambulance, I’m guessing she got the bill for that ride. The Bicyclists need to be licensed and insured.

We were honored to host an Iftar dinner in recognition of the holy month of Ramadan. We extend our sincere thanks to all community members and officers who participated. Events like this continue to strengthen the bond between the police and the community we proudly serve.

New York City, meet the hero cops who apprehended two individuals charged with ISIS-inspired terrorism last week. Our entire city owes these officers a debt of gratitude. They are a reminder that the safety and security of New York City rests on the judgment and courage of the men and women of the NYPD. On Saturday, March 7, that was on full display. When two IEDs were ignited in the middle of a crowded protest, these officers didn’t step back. They stepped forward without hesitation and without regard for their own safety. They acted on instinct and training to protect people they did not know and would likely never meet. Moments like that remind us what policing truly requires.

Today, on International Day to Combat Islamophobia, we stand with Muslim New Yorkers and reaffirm our commitment to confronting Islamophobic hate in all its forms.
New York’s strength comes from its diversity. Our city must be a place where Muslim communities can live, worship, and thrive with dignity, safety, and a true sense of belonging.

@RudyGiuliani While the city was rolling in money, the Giuliani administration cried future poverty and stuck New York City police officers with 3½ years without a raise. Giuliani’s ‘zeroes for heroes’ contracts held police pay stagnant !

It was an honor to speak about my love of the NYPD and law enforcement during the 2026 Blue Lives Matter Gala on Staten Island. Thank you to Joseph Imperatrice and the entire team for honoring New York’s Finest. The NYPD is the greatest law enforcement organization in the world.
