I have a ten year old Doberman named Drago. Over the past decade I’ve bought him every toy you can buy. None of them lasted a day. He ripped them all to shreds. A week ago I was at Target and saw a stuffed lamb (might be a sheep I have no idea) for sale. Bought it for Drago, expected it to last ten minutes. I’m not sure if he thinks it’s his kid or what but he has not only not destroyed it, he brings it everywhere. When he eats, he brings it to his bowl. When he goes outside, he takes it. I’m fairly certain that if I tried to take it from him he would kill me. 😂

Kyle Busch and his wife Samantha had sued Pacific Life Insurance Company and an agent in a high-profile case over Indexed Universal Life insurance policies sold as retirement vehicles in October 2025 in North Carolina. It was later moved to federal court. They claimed losses exceeding $8.5 million after paying roughly $10.4 million in premiums across multiple policies purchased between 2018 and 2022. The Busches said Pacific Life and an agent misled them by marketing the policies as “safe,” “tax-free” retirement plans with guaranteed returns and low risk. They claimed misleading illustrations, false promises, hidden fees/charges, and failure to disclose risks. The policies were Indexed Universal Life products tied to market indexes but with insurance elements. They had reached an out-of-court settlement in late February 2026 which was announced around March 4, 2026. The settlement details were not made available in the Feb. 26 filing. The document stated that the parties are finalizing the settlement papers and intent to file for the case's dismissal within 30 days. "The Busch family and Pacific Life are pleased to have reached an amicable resolution of their dispute," Pacific Life said in a statement to WCNC Charlotte. "Both sides worked constructively to achieve a confidential result that is mutually acceptable and avoids further legal proceedings."

Nevermore so than with the loss of a cherished companion. Do it now. don't think there is some sort of waiting period, where you get to collect your thoughts, express them well... and be understood. It doesn't work that way. I am now drunk. I just wrote a lot of bullshit and deleted. My wife was so fucking real. An RN of forty years, attuned to all but herself, ironically, or not. I don't wish to disparage her memory, so will stop now. I will love her forever. She was a gifted soul.
