@pastoraldoleon @JoelWebbon Observing that Catholics misunderstand justification in no way addresses that many Protestants misunderstand justification. It's an irrelevant observation. Also, those who can't do, teach.

The average IQ in Nigeria and Lagos was 73. The median IQ was 69. So the question is, would Haiti score lower than countries like Nigeria? Even the most progressive AI platforms will answer yes. Christians slandered me relentlessly for saying this. No one has repented.
Right Angle News Network@Rightanglenews

BREAKING - An Africa-based research team aiming to disprove Western claims about low IQ in African countries is going viral after conducting mass IQ tests in Lagos, Nigeria, only for over 50% of participants to score below 70, with a median score of 69.7.

I recall that removing the fat content as cream increased the lactose as a percentage. So, the fats in cream were good for keto, but cream also has just over half the carbs for the same liquid volume. I'm guessing the attractiveness of non-fat dairy for pigs is that you still get all the fattening calorie benefits after skimming the good stuff.

Non fat milk product will make you gain weight. Hog farmers feed non-fat dairy opposed to full fat dairy to their hogs specifically to put on the pounds.

The State of California passed a law so disconnected from reality that the DM42 calculator has to stop serving users in Cali because it cannot implement the required age verification.

@james_d_baird My kids are in their late teens and 20s. The realization that we've hit a new phase our in lives didn't hit my wife and I until we had milk go bad in the fridge.

@ZacharyGarris @ptomer Our resident anabaptist at church declared it to be a "great article", so you're onto something there.

If anyone thinks the Orthodox Presbyterian Church is free from feminism, just see the latest article in the official OPC magazine (Ordained Servant) by Rev. Aaron Mize, titled, "In Defense of Union, Not Patriarchy." Rather than interact with the article, I'm just going to share excerpts to show the blatant feminism put forth by an OPC minister in the OPC magazine. These quotes sound like something out of a book promoting egalitarianism. "Patriarchy appears nowhere in the pre-fall order." "Read together, Ephesians 5 and 1 Peter 3 announce not an order of authority but an order of holiness." "In this light, the modern habit of translating these texts into the language of 'leadership' or 'male authority' is a reversion to the very power structures the gospel overturns. The apostles do not appoint 'leaders' in the home; they unveil a new creation in which all relations are gathered into the obedience of love." "Headship, rightly understood, dismantles patriarchy. It is an organic union—the living bond by which Christ imparts his life to his body, not hierarchy." "The hierarchical arrangements that have come to shape fallen human life—whether civil, cultural, or domestic—are not divine designs or providential instruments but distortions born of sin’s disorder."

“We often hear that ministers should be on the front lines of cultural transformation, leading the kind of social programs that would result in the Christianization of every DMV office, and all the streaming services submitting to the lordship of Christ. However, ministers have a particular calling to point people to the life to come. They are to redirect people’s hearts to Christ in heaven and offer the holy things to God’s people for a higher life.” -Reformed Christian Politics Study Report, 212.

Before we get to what "is", we first need to address what "ought to be". We agree that the church "ought to be" promoting the proper use of the Lord's day using the tools given and the scope. The CNs advocate that the state "ought to be" doing the same in its capacity. Moving from "ought to be" to "is" on either front is going to take a lot of work on both parts, especially within the scope of their calling. Pastors should be promoting faithful living in the church and statesmen should be "God's minister for good", promoting good and suppressing evil. As members of our churches and citizens of our countries, we ought to be supporting each in their work.

Most PCA church members, pastors, and officers have Lord's Day views and practices at variance with the Westminster standards, yet CN fantasists talk about blue laws. Really? That's where you start? You want the magistrate(s) to do what sermons and Sunday School lessons can't?

I think to myself, “certainly they couldn’t reach that conclusion after reading the whole argument.” And then I realize that they didn’t read it. They did a word search to find something and then extracted it from the argument to post on social media. Everything is treated as a disparate statement. You’re not allowed to write deductively or systematically anymore. Let’s be smarter.

Thus far, I have only read the chapter of this report on theonomy. While I think it is better than many critiques of theonomy, I think it errs in saying that theonomy strays from the WCF. A few initial thoughts 🧵. reformedchristianpolitics.org

Nasty little account claims to be PCA and to have a "soon to be ruling elder at my PCA church (who) agrees with Martin Luther on the jews." His type is blessedly rare in the PCA. Still, if you see a copy of Der Stürmer sticking out of a dude's rugged leather satchel at church...

When my kids were young, we lived in a brick house with no air conditioning. During the summer, I would frequently come home from work with a wife and kids on the verge of totally anarchy. Wise husband that I was, I would explain that their behavior was wrong and they needed to manifest more grace and self-control. Without disagreeing, my wife would explain that it was hot in the house and that was aggravating the hostility. I gently explained that such a response was also wrong, and that we are required to exhibit love and self-control regardless of circumstances. That Saturday, I was working in my home office and the temp in the house hit 100 degrees. We drove to the hardware store and bought a few window AC units. It was amazing seeing the sanctifying effects of the Holy Spirit in their lives. The statements from both men are true, but actions effect response and denying that is a failure in discernment and wisdom.
