@CoachReamon Morning Coach. Could you connect and DM me? Have a question for you? You’ve been extremely helpful to my son Tyler Schuler @TylerSchuler15 during recruitment. Think Ty may have sent you a message too. Know you are busy.

Check your “Unknown Senders” sender messages on iMessage from time to time. Sometimes a recruiting dept. may send out mass texts w recruiting visit info that way.

@brendancahill_ I’ve thought coaches should do this as well here on ‘X’. There may be a 💎 in the rough in there. The spam these kids and coaches get is probably unbearable and a pain to sort through.

@IsaacPunts Looks like it was a great event. Som really good balls here. Think there are a handful of 2026 HS punters that missed out on P5 offers due to Transfer portal.

Parent Recruiting Legend 🚨 • PSA: Prospective Student-Athlete, Any athlete a college is evaluating or communicating with before enrollment. • OFFER (Scholarship Offer): A school is committing athletic scholarship money if the athlete accepts. • WRITTEN OFFER: Official scholarship offer sent through the school’s compliance office confirming the offer in writing. • COMMUNICATED OFFER: A coach verbally tells the player they have an offer, but the official written offer has not been processed yet. • COMMITTABLE OFFER: A real offer the athlete can accept immediately to secure a roster spot. • NON-COMMITTABLE OFFER: The school likes the athlete but the offer depends on additional evaluation such as camp performance, senior film, roster needs, academics, or other recruits committing. • PWO: Preferred Walk-On, Invited to join the team with a reserved roster spot, but no scholarship money. Treated similar to scholarship players in day-to-day operations. • WO: Walk-On, No guaranteed spot. Must earn a place through tryouts or camp. • ROSTER SPOT: A guaranteed place on the team that may or may not include scholarship money. • STACKABLE SCHOLARSHIP: Partial scholarships that can be combined to create a larger financial package. Recruiting requires behavior that isn't rewarded in the actual sport of football: self promotion, some gamesmanship and thinking about yourself to a limited extent. I think that's why it's so hard for kids who really love football to navigate the process of getting recruited to play it.
