Let's do intro reviews! I’m a retention director who works with some of the biggest YouTube creators, many of whose videos get over 100M views each. For the next 24 hours, I’ll review as many intros as possible and give advice on what to improve.

Yesterday I was asked how long I've been playing ultimate frisbee. I thought back. I started the summer before I got to high school I said: "I've been playing since 2007" Their reply: "Wow. I was born in 2008" In that moment, I've never felt more old in my life

The iPhone Air looks cool, I actually really like the design, but it's not for me... I often use the Telephoto and Ultrawide lenses, so that's a dealbreaker :/

I was planning on upgrading to the iPhone 17 Pro to have Apple Log and use it for filming YT videos, but after seeing the design/colors and lack of meaningful upgrades... Might stick with my 14 Pro for another year...

I know I'm a month late, but I was looking at iOS 26's new "Liquid Glass" from WWDC, and my first thought was: "Isn't this just an icon pack with extra steps?" It looks cool, but Apple keynotes lately feel like they’re trying to hit the word count on a school essay lol.

I'm concerned, I'm currently exporting a video and my PC is emitting a burning smell lol...

Random question: Why is 144p resolution even an option on YouTube? Sometimes my PC defaults to it and it's an unwatchable smearry mess, 240 is still quite bad, but 360p for example is quite usable. In which scenarios do people use 144p? For audio or internet limitations?

I don't know... it's just weird that an ''Industry Standard Professional Software'' works so poorly...

It's kinda crazy how from the start of editing a video until the moment I finish, Adobe Premiere Pro doesn't fail to crash at least a few times regardless of what I do. Every once in a while, Premiere goes ''it's time to crash''

@MKBHD If it's reuploading without adding anything at all other than for their own profit, then probably ask to remove it. If it at least adds some ''value'' or is transformative in some way it's a gray area... I'd leave it unless it's misrepresenting your message or doing harm.

If you found a YouTube channel that has been stealing your content, re-cutting it and uploading it as Shorts that have accumulated almost 100 million views, what would you do? Asking for a friend
