2:58:14 chip time Quads died at mile 17 and I just had grind it out. Wanted to quit so many times, one mile to go just emptied the very depleted tank. But we got our sub 3 at our big boy 80kg weight. Hardest I've had to graft for anything. Honestly really proud

Lots of tweets from PhDs unable to get postdoc jobs. Advice for those in process of choosing a PhD: 1. Publications are the only currency in academia. 2. Ask prospective supervisors to provide links to papers published by past PhD students. 3. Avoid those that can’t or won’t.
