$BTC Price Update We've gotten a little bit of a bounce from the recent low of 81K to 91K (12%) so it is time to break out the bullish vibes? Well, historically, any time [except March 2020, COVID] we've had 2 weekly closes below the 50W SMA that was the sign of the bear market. In the interim, it's important to note that each time there was a retouch the 50W SMA at some point soon, and if history rhymes that'll be late Jan 2026. So some hopium if you're hoping to exit at a higher price before history says we most likely drop to 35-45K. And for that bottom. For those looking to buy at "the bottom", timing has often been pretty consistent in BTC's history and that time would likely be sometime around Dec 2026.

Spoke with some friends in the plastics business. They are just about out of raw materials and cannot find new supplies as China restricts exports of petroleum-related downstream products. This is going to get much worse before it gets better.

10-year Treasury yields hit 4.4% for the first time since July 2025. But war, exploding debt and soaring inflation will drive yields much higher. Without big rate cuts and massive QE (a mistake), stocks and real estate will crash, resulting in a financial crisis worse than 2008.

One of the more interesting things in the housing market right now is the divergence between Builders and existing owners. Builders are now near 9 months of supply (heavy correction / near crash level) But existing owners are at only 4 months (somewhat normal). First time in 40 years this kind of divergence has taken place. My bet is that builders are signaling what will happen in re-sale market as cheap mortgages get phased out. Existing owners, meanwhile, are holding on for dear life and hoping the market bounces back for listing their house.

In less than a month, hope for a decent spring selling season has all but vanished in housing as oil spikes, rates jump, and inflation expectations reset higher. Can’t even get an adjustable-rate mortgage below 6% anymore.

Urry et al. at Tufts in 2021, 145 students. No effect. Morehead et al. in 2019, two experiments. No effect. A meta-analysis pooling eight similar studies. No effect. So why am I saying it’s still right? Because a 2023 Norwegian EEG study with 256 channels found something the behavioral research couldn’t measure. Handwriting produces theta and alpha connectivity patterns between parietal and central brain regions that typing does not produce. Those specific frequencies are the ones your hippocampus relies on for memory formation. Your brain treats handwriting as a motor-spatial problem. Five brain regions fire in coordination: premotor cortex, parietal cortex, cerebellum, fusiform gyrus, sensorimotor cortex. Typing activates a fraction of that network. The original study measured the right outcome with the wrong methodology. The real finding lives at the neural level: handwriting rewires the encoding process itself.

A 20-year study found women who regularly cleaned their homes lost lung function equivalent to smoking 20 cigarettes a day. Yes — 20 cigarettes a day worth of damage & only in women. Women who cleaned regularly (weekly or more) had accelerated lung function decline comparable to ~20 pack-years of smoking. No similar effect was seen in men, due to lower exposure to household cleaning chemicals. The fix is cheap & simple: Switch to non-toxic alternatives — vinegar + water, baking soda, castile soap, hydrogen peroxide. Throw out the scented sprays, "synthetic fragrance" plug-ins & harsh volatile chemical cleaners. Your lungs don’t regenerate like your liver. Damage accumulates for life. You wouldn’t smoke a pack a day. Why clean like you do? What are you cleaning with these days???
