I joined @rox_ai last week as a Design Engineer
From my very first conversation with @yumatanaka, I had a really good feeling about the team and the work. The decision to join came naturally.
Now I get to build with @ben_issen, @designgurra, and Yuma, a small crew with big ideas about where design can go at Rox. I’m excited for the road ahead.

@asallen @hckmstrrahul When I was contributing to the very first design system at Paytm back in 2020-2021 I realised that it you are an enterprise SaaS then building and maintaining a design system justifies. For a consumer app don’t make sense.

fwiw, I don't think design systems are dead or going away (they're older than most think). But as I said, the Design System Era (2018-2025) where the system became the primary focus of our contribution in this field, feels well over. The systems are moving to the background to make room for software's expression of bigger ideas.
