Another great job by the weather people in Philadelphia. The #Phillies postponed opening day/game because of the forecast of rain in the afternoon. Funny how I never got wet standing outside waiting for the sky to fall with raindrops. Meteorologists come off how accurate they are and again they ruined people’s fun. Now many can’t go to the opening game because it was moved to Friday. A game fans waited months to enjoy. @CecilyTynan @CBSPhiladelphia @FOX29philly @NBCPhiladelphia @6abc

This past calendar year was also a remarkably active year for tornadoes in the state of Illinois as a whole. A total of 120 tornadoes were confirmed in the state in 2023, which falls just shy of the state record of 124 tornadoes in a calendar year, set back in 2006. #ilwx (6/8)
