@MelissaCarbal14 No. But he's the scapegoat. It's on Stearns. But you fire Mendy you'll only get another Stearns puppet in there. It might shake em up for a while but won't last. Not with this rental crew.
"You know that at some point during the regular season of 162, you're going to face adversity. Here we are, pretty early, facing adversity. You've just got to find a way to get through it. You've got to find a way. We will."
- Carlos Mendoza
Carlos Mendoza was asked if he's okay with the effort and quality of the Mets' at-bats right now:
"I'm good with the effort, obviously, but it's hard to say here that we're having good at-bats when we're not. It's got nothing to do with effort, preparation, anything like that. They're working. We've just got to be able to translate the work and the preparation and all that into the game now."
@SNYtv He definitely isn't a motivator and makes very questionable moves. The lineup is all over the place. Bench Lindor a game he is just costing them games at this point. I have so much more to say but will refrain.
"You're going to go through stretches where it's hard. Right now, we're in the middle of that stretch. You've got to just ride the storm and keep going."
- Carlos Mendoza
@SNYtv I love the Mets. I love the Mets. I love the Mets. You, sir, are not on my favorite Mets list oh at least since day 1. You're a freaking broken record.
@SNY_Mets Cohen: It's been a good run Mendy, but sending you to the gulag if you don't win 2/3 against the dodgers.
Mendy: Yes sir, of course, yes indeed, will do, yes , yes, and yes. ....and also have Tommy Pham batting 4th per Mr. Stearns directive.
Dodgers are concerned with Edwin Diaz's drop in velocity (Avg FB 95.8 mph). It remains to be seen whether he pitches against the Mets in this series

There are several ways folks get called on to get a jersey. I googled it; from dedicated ticket holders to a seat lottery draw during the last home game.

NHL has screwed up points system.
The head tap for a challenge is already becoming a disaster for “accidental” challenges. I vote for everyone to have a yellow hanky in their pocket and you have to throw it like an NFL ref to initiate a challenge. What do you think??
