Dear future Daniel, When heaven finally blesses you, DO NOT forget the years of struggling and pain. Times without good clothes, food and luxury of life. Years with ideas handicapped and responsibilities dodged due to lack of funds, where you wished..

Talking about Maradona’s aura. Jurgen Klinsman was talking about it on STF recently, not just his days in Napoli, but also his days at Boca Juniors. The popular video where Mardona was joggling the ball during warm up while the “life is life” song was playing, you remember right? It was a UEFA Cup final between Napoli and Stuttgart. Klinsmann was playing for Stuttgart then. He said, during warm up, Maradona started doing the kick ups in front of 70,000 people, they all knew they’d lost, the aura, the confidence, they couldn’t focus on their warm up, they were all just looking at him. The stadium was in awe (I’ll put the video in the comments). Klinsmann also played at Inter Milan. He said in Italy, they could go out as footballers, have a drink and at most, few fans will want a picture or an autograph, and that was it…but Maradona could not do that in Napoli. When he leaves his house, 100 people are outside waiting for him. He was a god in that city. In Napoli, they believe they own you, and you own them, he said this also led Maradona to do drugs because all of those things got into his head. Firstly, the move to Napoli was not expected, who goes to Napoli back then? Well, Maradona of all people did, he changed their lives, that’s why you hear Osimhen talking about Maradona that way. You dare not talk ill about Maradona in Napoli, else you’re gone. It’s a rough city, I was in Napoli about 4 years ago, and I understand why Pasuma sang “Napoli like Lagos”😅. It’s a mad city, if you lose guard, your phone is gone 😂

Messi is the greatest of all time. He doesn’t have the aura that Maradona had in his day.

I pray you experience what I experienced in 2020/2021. I wasn’t sleeping at all. Aping from one memecoin to another. My first project Hanzu Inu did $120million ATH after I sold at $20million and left 🤣🤣🤣. Many OG knew me with Meta Cat also did $20million before my dev rugged me. It was very easy to shill a meme to millions. Shiba did $45Billion 🤣🤣.

🚨🎙️ Julián Álvarez on how Argentina treats Lionel Messi: “People think we take care of Messi because of everything he's won. That's not the reason. We take care of him because he has spent his entire career taking care of Argentina. When you share a dressing room with him, you quickly understand that he never asks to be treated differently. In fact, he's usually the first one to joke around, the first one to congratulate a teammate, and the last person to make anything about himself. That's exactly why everyone naturally wants to protect him. If Messi loses the ball, the first thought isn't, 'Why did he lose it?' It's, 'Let's win it back for Leo.' That's the mentality of this team. We know that one touch, one pass, or one moment from him can change everything. So if we have to run an extra five or ten metres to give him that chance, we'll do it every single time. For us, Messi isn't just the captain. He's the heartbeat of Argentina. Wearing the same shirt as the greatest player in history isn't pressure. It's a privilege that we'll be telling our children about for the rest of our lives.”

This is the only reason I'm supporting Portugal in this World Cup. I badly want him to win it. He has done a lot for football and I fear not having the WC may affect his legacy 50 years to come. Puskas scored over over 700 goals at a ratio of 1 goal every game. At a period they threw "stools" at strikers. Yet, 60 years after he stopped playing football, he is still in top 5 highest goalscorers ever. Got to World Cup final. Won 3 UCL (old equivalent). This is not too far from Ronaldo's achievements. He did these 60-70 years ago. Despite all of these, do you ever see people mention him in GOAT debate in 21st century? If not for FIFA naming best goal after him, the Puskas Award, which helped his popularity recently, how many football followers of our generation know him or how he looks like? Ronaldo's greatness is not in doubt, but there is a risk those that didn't watch him in 50 years' time will use World Cup to judge him and underrate his achievement. This is my point, which JJ has buttressed - even though he is harder in his own words. I used Cruyff as example in my first tweet. Puskas is another example. When people summarize the greatest players' achievements in two lines in 2075, especially if there have been a couple of other players that scored 1,000 goals too, there is a chance absence of WC on his CV make people not consider him in that exclusive GOAT list. Many of us that witnessed his games won't be part of that discussion then.

If you don’t win the World Cup, if you like score 5000 goals, you will be remembered like them Bican, Lev Yashin and Puskas at best.

@onuchemustapha @SirJarus @Omojuwa lol not on me, it is the same football Messi plays, and he won it with his teammate playing an instrumental part in that. If it was Ronaldo who won the worldcup with portugal you will say this same thing, let's be honest. Not that I have anything against him, he's a great player!

@dinzel_flash @SirJarus @Omojuwa He has completed football , if winning a World Cup with Portugal is your own yardstick, that’s on you . Only 8 nations have won the World Cup in history

I have a theory that if you chase someone for a long time before they finally accept to date you then you’re not their type. Nobody is running from what they like.
