@furiadidonna @jacobin Sorry, but how does invoking Ronald Reagan, a notorious union-buster, somehow put Slotkin on the side of the traditional pro-union left. It's not whether Bernie supports trans rights, it's that he leads first and foremost with an economic message aimed at the working class!

@jacobin This is interesting, bc Bernie talked more about oligarchs, traditional working class economics. But he also represents the loony left with trans nonsense, etc. Whereas Slotkin embodied more of the family values, love of country also part of the old Union left.

Being old and getting older is a trip. Today I told my kids that when I was a child, there were commercials urging people to use this new thing called a “zip code.” People were skeptical - all those numbers. Why? But the tag line - zip code moves the mail - caught on.
