This shows so clearly how the “human rights” space is infiltrated with Islamism. I bought the “George Clooney marries human rights lawyer” line too. Turns out she drafts legislation for terrorist groups that spawn ideology like Hamas.

George Clooney admitted that his wife helped write the Muslim Brotherhood’s constitution in Egypt in 2012 (Morsi) The Muslim Brotherhood is effectively a terrorist organization, and was officially designated one in the UAE They will now deny this

Exactly this. It's disturbing. It's sad.

Chaim Herzog was not only the President of Israel. He was Ireland’s son. Born in Belfast, raised in Dublin, educated at Alexandra College and Wesley College, fluent in Irish and Hebrew, a standout in rugby and cricket, and Ireland’s junior bantamweight boxing champion. A child of Irish pride and moral courage. At the age of twenty-two, when Europe was sinking into darkness, Herzog chose action. He joined the British Army to fight the Nazis. He landed in Normandy, fought through Belgium and the Netherlands, crossed the Rhine, and entered Bergen Belsen, where he encountered starvation, mass death, and the ruins of humanity left behind by fascist cruelty. Weeks later, he helped identify the body of Heinrich Himmler and interrogated senior SS officials. This Irishman confronted evil and helped to defeat it. And now @RayMcAdam and the Dublin City Council advance a move to erase his name from Herzog Park. Before it is an insult to Israel, Before it is a wound to the Jewish people, it is a betrayal of Ireland and of every Irishman and woman who ever stood against tyranny. A moral collapse. Fifty years ago, on the 10th of November 1975, the boy from Dublin stood at the United Nations and exposed a great lie. He ended with these words: “For us, the Jewish people, this resolution is based on hatred, falsehood, and arrogance. Hitler would have felt at home listening to the proceedings in this forum.” And today, once again, the same winds of hatred and falsehood rise. Hitler and Mohammed Sinwar cheer your choice from hell’s deepest abyss, @RayMcAdam, while Chaim Herzog looks upon you from above with sorrow, for a city that has lost its way.

Christ, how many times does this have to be said? Hamas went on a murder-rape spree and then HID BENEATH THEIR OWN PEOPLE. They use their OWN CIVILIANS as MEAT SHIELDS. They are a JIHADIST DEATH CULT. Stop being useful idiots for MONSTERS.
Cassandra Drew@CassandraDrew10

@Glinner Even assuming all 1,200 people were killed by Hamas, A) You think killing Palestinian civilians is an ethical response? B) How about 100K+ of them? C) Destroying the infrastructure of 2 million people? You know Israel is indefensible. Only two reasons you’d keep defending them.

So Lizza's part 3's Shyamalan twist is a suggestion the Butler assassination attempt may have been staged.

TFW an idiot Antifa lover trying to make a Constitutional point based on a word search (idiotic to begin with) thinks her final dunk is claiming the words of The Gettysburg Address are actually from the Constitution — when her whole point was a word search of The Constitution. The levels of fail here are epic.

If you like history (or think you might) and are not listening @dcsandbrook and @holland_tom regularly you are missing out. My wife and I go to sleep many a night listening (that’s meant as a compliment but I can see the other side :)) and then we argue in the morning on how much to rewind based on who fell asleep first. It’s quite a raucous party at our house! Also you have to join the club. You can’t be waiting for weeks to discover how it works out for Anne Boleyn or Mary Queen of Scotts!

My new TV turns itself on in the morning, unbidden, when I am nearby, and offers a daily inspirational message. It's very "Plur1bus."

Sleepy small town Canada. About an hour outside the nation’s capital. It’s metastasizing. But don’t worry! Our Ayatollahs have it all under control.

no comment on the cultural literacy of Gen Z (I have no idea about this), but I do think the microcultural fragmentation of entertainment + stigmatizing the classics (“dead white men”) + the rise of short form video have been basically catastrophic to our sense of shared culture
