I took my 11 year old to her checkup this morning and the nurse asked me to step out of the room for a moment. I politely declined and she said, "It's just for a moment." And I told her, "No thank you, given all the stories about children being abused my husband and I decided to never leave our children alone with anyone, even medical providers. Anything you need to do or say you can do with me in the room." She looked all miffed and just left, no idea what her plan was but she didn't feel the need to continue it with me present and that makes me even more suspicious?? When she left my daughter thanked me for not leaving, she's already shy about the doctor, her eyes got so wide when the lady asked me to leave.

@grudz2 The Yankees roster construction is an absolute joke. There's no direction or purpose. It's just player who were thrown together to fill it out. There's no versatility or logic to it.

Rice has now sat 2 of the last 4 games. When Goldschmidt signed, we were told it wouldn't be a strict lefty/righty platoon with Rice. Since they won't use Rice as a catcher, it's turning into that. Again.....poor roster construction by Cashman.#Yankees

Honestly, what do you all think this team needs to get to the level they can be at? I think it's a culture thing. There's not always a lot of fire and passion shown by the team. They attitude needs to change. Not ling ago team were afraid to play the Yankees.

Holding a lead has been a major issue for years. For some reason, when they go out and score runs, way too often it's given right back when the opponents bat again. It's not specific to one pitcher or just starters or bullpen arms. It just happens way too often.

Coming into tonight, this Judge character has 19 strikeouts in 55 at bats. That's just ridiculous. Maybe a stint in the minors will help him find his swing, or the Yankees might to able to trade him for a reliever at the trade deadline.

Caballero boots the play and Warren comes completely unglued. Granted, it's not what you expect but Warren has to lock in and remain focused. It's still early in the year so there's plenty of time to bounce back.

I don't think Jazz should be a part of the team next year. He doesn't hustle all the time, hits once in awhile, talks too much and is too much of a show boat. He's also very immature.

@Christian_NYYST It's going to be helpful to get them back, even though they are going to be super overprotective of Cole for a while. That means the other starters need to go deeper into games so the bullpen doesn't get burnt out. The expecting of starters going 5 innings need to go.

Carlos Rodon and Gerrit Cole are on their way back so eventually the #Yankees are going to have to pull two guys from the rotation. Ryan Weathers threw 38.1 innings last year and has never thrown 100 innings in a season so I do expect him to transition into the bullpen at some point because he’s not going to give the Yankees 150 innings this year. I believe Luis Gil will be the other one. Will Warren has proven to be more durable and reliable than Gil. I would not be surprised at all if Gil is moved at the deadline which would be the Yankees thing to do since his value is down from the 2024 Rookie of the Year campaign.
