Hyperliquid now trades more oil, gold, and silver than crypto. People will eventually start to realize crypto isn’t about crypto but about offering a more realistic and efficient infrastructure for any type of exchange. That goes from proof, reputation and alike to trading, real world assets and more. Hyperliquid is killing it. Look at that chart, green in a see of red.

Biggest lesson I’ve gotten on commodities. Don’t underestimate ingenuity and deep need for a global resource. Been hearing about Copper for 5y+ and how it needs to 5x. Heard about oil to 120 for the past 10y Heard about Gold to 5k.. actually that one happened but out of nowhere. But mainly, the lesson has been when everyone around me call for a 2x+ in whatever commodity it has marked the top or at least couldn’t advance further. Those calls always come after the initial big move, never before. The bigger lesson is I shouldn’t be trading them with big size, just participate.

some notes on trading vs investing and wealth creation in general being a 'trader' is very hard especially when it concerns macro and majors being an 'investor' is very easy especially when it concerns macro and majors i am not a 'trader' in this sense, i am not good at it but i am a very good 'investor' all you have to do is buy panic and sell eupohria is the btc ath in???? no???? ok then dca it is the hype ath in???? no???? ok then dca it is the sp500 ath in???? no???? ok then dca it extremely simple strategy note that trading hot sectors is different and i am extremely good at that for example memes in 2024/2025, some isolated cases now you can generate outsized alpha being where the money and attention is and finding an 'edge' like memes from wif ---> onwards, ending at trump take profits aggressively the more people pile in profits go to stables, stocks, and bitcoin 'trading' the hot meta to generate alpha alpha into your wealth creation tools - btc and stocks this is how you grow wealth over time there's a reason 97% of hyperliquid accounts are unprofitable trading macro is basically the hardest game in the world especially over an extended timeframe i like to play easy games, and games that i can win investing for the long term and compounding your investment in btc, sp500, and now hyperliquid will generate immense wealth over time play that game, not the game of flipping a coin and going long/short headlines you will blow up eventually everyone does unless you are very special and if you are cherish your gift for the rest of us, you will outperform everyone if you read this post a few times and really understand it also side note get a job to pump money into your dcas, that is critical trading as a main source of income while also trying to accumulate wealth makes this whole game even harder ok i hope this helps some people!!!! i will structure my approach to all of this one day and share it good starting point is this post tho thanks for reading - kook
