So many deserving shoutouts. But taking a second to recognize the Knicks medical and training staff. From OGs hammy to Mitch’s hand. Brunson rolls his ankle twice again. Josh hart crashes into everything. These team was as healthy as you can hope for in the finals.

@VolsAboveAll @rodger I completely agree with #2. Those guys were playing such a high level defense, in the first half especially, that they were gassed in the 4th. The stats tell it all. The Knicks dominated the 4th of every game because they reserved their energy and poured it on late in the game.

@rodger I genuinely believe that there are two massive things that explains this:
1. The spurs played a lot more games with less rest coming into the finals compared to the Knicks.
2. The spurs played at such a high intensity level on defense that it left nothing for them late in games.

TAX THE TRILLIONAIRES!
Here is why:
If California would tax Elon 50% of his wealth, that would add $550 BILLION for the California budget (instead of going to Mars and build infinity intelligence, which is useless anyway because no one needs intelligence, duh).
This could make a HUGE difference for Californians. Experts calculated that within 5 years, the state could
* buy 2 homeless people a bed (shared)
* complete 1 mile of high speed train tracks
* buy 50 million pre-signed mail-in ballots, including on-time delivery for the next 2 elections.
That's why we need a trillionaire tax.

@JLazzy23 Brunson can be the next Clyde Frazier, if he chooses to be. 50 years later Clyde can't walk down 7th Ave without being mobbed. But clearly he and Clyde have two very different personalities. Will be interesting to see what Brunson becomes in NYC folklore.

A lot of hockey fans criticize NBA players for caring more about themselves than the team.
Jalen Brunson came to the biggest market in basketball and an organization that hadn’t won a championship in 53 years. He took a $100 million pay cut to give this team a better chance to win. He embraced the pressure, never ran from the spotlight, never made it about himself and stayed humble every step of the way.

Actually, about this:
Elon once offered the UN $6 billion for World Hunger in 2021 - on the condition that the UN provided Open Source Accounting and allowed him or anyone else to track and audit exactly where the money was spent on.
Which I think is a fair request considering that UN had multiple high-profile embezzlement cases such as what happened in Somalia in 2010 and Ethiopia in recent years. There's even one being actively probed right now in Sudan.
UN has not have a good track record of monitoring where other people's money go to, and that's an understatement.
The UN's response? They said they would at best, offer summaries and high-level category reports...which is not very helpful. It was also not going to be an open ledger, so no one outside of UN leadership could see where the money would go to.
So...the offer fell through because the UN was unable to provide trackable details on where the money goes to, making auditing extremely difficult. The rest is history, which is now being actively memory-holed by you OP.
Sure hate Elon that he bought Twitter, at least be fair.

Remember the viral video last year of the young Scottish girl who brandished a knife and axe at a violent migrant to protect herself and her sister? The video was called “propaganda” and dismissed as far-right lies by liberal media and leftists.
A trial showed the girls weren’t lying. A migrant pursued sexual activity with one of the children and came back to violently assault them with his migrant sister after he was rebuffed. Both the migrant siblings were convicted.
@France24_en @VedikaBahl, the French state-funded news broadcaster, called the girls liars and blamed @elonmusk and Tommy Robinson.
