@RasmussenT56381 I remember going to the lake and swimming the entire day. Mom would have food in the cooler, but we weren’t stopping to eat ! We are on the car ride home, and slept like the exhausted children we were.

Snack culture for children has gotten completely out of hand. My daughter goes to a one-hour gymnastics class with a break in the middle, and everyone eats snacks during that break. Since when can't kids do sports for just one hour without needing snacks?

@intuitivealy @RasmussenT56381 I’m surprised I survived childhood. Outside with neighborhood kids all day. Water hose. Jazz, tap, ballet, acrobat classes. Water fountain. Played on a basketball team. Sideline bottles. Eat before or after. Zero snacks as a reward for behavior. Fun was the reward. 🤣
