Wike has a very poor Image making team! As it is now they make it seem like he thinks he is God and Nigerians dislike it. In the past 4 years his image has deteriorated terribly. His press conferences are doing more harm than good. @GovWike get yourself a good team or allow your team do their job effectively if you are the one undermining them. You have a long career you don’t need all this baggage of hate around you.

He brilliantly laid out Nigeria’s constitutional order that guarantees freedom of religion and promotes tolerance among all citizens. To drive home the point, he even presented them with a booklet highlighting those constitutional provisions. That's a smart, factual move that silenced misconceptions about religious persecution.
The Minister also spoke powerfully about Nigeria’s strategic partnerships with the rest of the world: in trade, investment, security, and the economy. His message was clear: Nigeria is open for collaboration built on mutual respect and shared prosperity, not pity or prejudice.
Most importantly, he cautioned against any divisive agenda that seeks to frame Nigeria along religious fault lines, warning that such a path could turn the country into another Sudan. That was a strong reminder that our diversity is our strength, and unity remains our national calling.

This Bashir is an Islamic fundamentalist. It is suprising that people like this are still allowed to speak for the Nigerian Government. It shows we are not serious in tackling Muslim extremism and terrorism. Maybe with this continuing it shows that the FG cannot speak truth and actually protect all Nigerian citizens without tilting to the desires of Northern Muslim extremists whose intention is to make Nigeria an Islamic republic. I have noted with increasing concern the heightened pronouncements on Nigeria by President Donald Trump. This follows his designation of Nigeria as a “country of particular concern.” It is important to emphasise that our country is a sovereign nation whose people face different threats from outlaws across the country. The insecurity we face does not distinguish based on religious, ethnic, or political beliefs. The United States should assist the Nigerian authorities with better cutting-edge technology to tackle these problems, rather than posing a threat that could further polarise our country. The Nigerian government should also consider appointing special envoys from its distinguished diplomats to engage the American government. Additionally, it is necessary to appoint permanent ambassadors to represent Nigeria’s interests on the international stage. To my fellow countrymen, this is an important moment where we should emphasise unity of belonging over division. God bless Nigeria. - RMK
