The Kilpatrik book really helped me to understand how and why PA is critical. And why trying to memorize sight words is not helpful.

The question is, how do you teach the skill for struggling learners. The Kilpatrick book has some suggestions, but they aren’t part of the 1 minute drill.

@laurfoll @AdrianaLaGrange Public Charter schools serve public students within the public system. Public charters are more accountable to the public than other schools. They do not charge tuition and serve a diverse population. These innovative schools are quite different from American charter schools.

The Alberta government will be providing $110 million in targeted funding over the next three years. This includes $30 million in 2022/23, and will enable schools to support students experiencing academic challenges because of the pandemic...
