Whoever’s in charge has to make a serious pitch to Darren Raddysh’s camp if he hits the market on July 1. Absolute bomb of a shot, can move a puck and defends well. Basically a point-a-game.

@newyorkpatroit @NHL_Watcher McAvoy is a good puck moving defenseman that has grit. Something like a Morgan rielly bit more defensive. Tanev is a better defensive defender than McAvoy. Without tanev leafs have no defense. Something like when mon tock out muzzin in the playoffs we couldn't defend

@NHL_Watcher Tanev only played 11gp this season. He is the only defenseman that can defend. Him being out is worse than barkov for Florida being out. Berube also turned this team into a team of trucks, and leafs are Ferraris.

@ReggieC23 @JayOnLeafs I'm a big fan of rielly, but he has regressed. You have to shelter him more. Have hom on the 3rd pairing if you want to shutdown a team and only use him on the second pairing for passes. Leafs need a true n1 dman to facilitate this transition
