The government must realise that leaseholders cannot, and should not cover the exorbitant costs of repairing buildings they bought in good faith, with existing fire safety failings from when they were developed.

After 3 and a half years of broken promises and burying their heads in the sand, the Government can today do what needs to be done: accept the failures of the Building Safety Fund (BSF) and Fire Safety Bill, support Labour’s cladding motion and finally End Our Cladding Scandal!
