We are getting to that point of doom on Iran where X got to on Ukraine. Back then without gas and food we were going to be cholipping frozen, starved, dead Europeans of the streets. This time it's oil, gas, fertilizer and helium all about to bring about the end of humanity as we know it....

@JOBhakdi Looks like it was briefly on the website at $39,990. This is slightly disappointing. Hoping this may have been a tease on purpose and it might come in at least below $38k.

@JOBhakdi What are your thoughts on Q4? After tax credit going away. Short-term in the scope of all Tesla is building but looks like it won’t be a good one. Thank you for all your amazing content.

@farzyness @elonmusk I agree @farzyness . Love you and your work! A video oriented UI, and the base features is just copying YT. Offline, background play are critical. The subscription model to get ad free is killer and will drive revenue. Video is where the $$ are.

Yes - the biggest difference I believe is the lack of ads on videos. There’s no midroll ads on X on my content that I’ve seen. This is where majority of YT ad revenue comes from. I know a handful of accounts here sometimes show midroll ads. On top of this video retention on X on my content is very very low (% of time people stay to watch a video). It’s over 10x greater on YouTube. Often times much greater. This drives the amount of times YT can show ads to a viewer - longer time on a video, more ads get shown. IMO I think X can solve this by offering a dedicated video UI that offers great discoverability, especially for long form content. Right now I believe the main feed is used by folks that want rapid fire video (short form) and or written pieces. My style of content (long form video) is not optimized for X’s current UI I think.

This is $TSLAQ in a nutshell - what used to be a legitimate bear thesis in 2018 has turned into a hilarious conspiracy theory. These people legitimately believe people like me and other folks that make content around Tesla are “paid promoters”. The best part is if you actually watch my Tesla content, even though I’m very much a fan of the company and the leader, I offer critical viewpoints. Yes - I’m biased to the positive, but that’s because that’s who I am. I focus on positive things as a person. There are many critical voices out there that people can follow that I think do a good job. For example, @TSLAFanMtl, @garyblack00, @AlbertBridgeCap, and others. What’s funny is the video that Elon shared just today had FSD errors, and my parents were openly critical of where FSD and Tesla needs to do better. What’s even more funny is that YouTube pays me 50-100x what X does thru advertising revenue, yet these folks think my sharing the same exact content on X, which I’ve been making since 2021 before Elon’s acquisition, somehow makes me and others “paid promoters” even though I’ve received precisely $0.00 from Tesla and/or Elon to make content. 100% of my content is content I want to make - period. It’s a passion of mine that is generating an income. Last I checked, 99.9% of the population would consider this a blessing, and I consider myself incredibly lucky to be in this spot. These people cannot wrap their around the fact that there may be companies out there that actually make really good shit that people love. Instead they choose to spread misery on social media by spreading lies. Follow people like @ZeroSumBond at your own peril.

Dads: don’t worry so much about what you say. Our kids will likely copy parts of us, no matter what we say. So, instead, let’s be visible, present, and let’s do our best to be someone worth copying, as often as we can figure out what that may be. I’m cheering for you, please cheer back sometimes. 🙌

You speak of Hope. Elon’s companies are exposing lies and corruption without any name calling. My wife read a story to me about what a failure the CT launch was (she believed it). Bless her, she is a wonderful person and helps people Every day. I listened carefully to every word and how the author constructed a negative view of the CT, how people were disappointed, that it was late, much higher priced, etc. and in the end implied how it will come to nothing. After she was finished reading I pointed out that it was interesting that the author didn’t mention that it was stainless, bullet proof, had on board 115/220V AC that would last all day, that the additional power pack with the base batteries would feed a house for 3 days, that -~ 95% of trucks don’t travel more than 50 mi in a day, most comfortable and quiet truck ever, that it had rear wheel steering, floats and could out pull a Ford F350 Diesel that cost $104,000, safest truck, etc. I got tired of listing good things and said in 18 months it will be the best selling truck in the World. She said I was a dreamer. It has been my due in life to see clearly (after much work and thinking) what others call a dream. Then again it is the dream today that creates tomorrow’s reality. 🤠

There are days I am discouraged. And then remember that sunlight is said to be the best disinfectant. We invest in the most advanced AI company, which makes cars drive by themselves, all while accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy, and teaching robots do Yoga poses (and much more, lol). We believe in the genius entrepreneur who makes rockets land and free speech a reality. In a stock which should reflect all this, but gets misused again and again for political and short term financial gain. In a company which deserves best credit and ESG ratings, if those would make any sense. (They don't!) All this happens in the largest economy and richest country in the world, where these companies and this entrepreneur should be celebrated and cherished, yet the "establishment" is trying with all their means to silence him, and litigate and stall any progress. It becomes every day more obvious to me that buying 𝕏 was not an entertaining choice but a pure necessity. And if it means further bitter bag-holding for Tesla shareholders, count me in. I have my eyes wide open and understand what it signifies. And I have time. Time is the ultimate currency here. And I also need to warn any short term investors or gamblers: You got many elements against you, so just don't do it. When Louis Brandeis wrote in 1913 "sunlight is said to be the best disinfectant", he was referring to a statement by Lord James Bryce in his 1888 book, The American Commonwealth. Bryce was a British academic, jurist, historian, and Liberal politician writing an in-depth study of American politics that shaped the understanding of America in Britain and in the US. That was 135 freaking years ago. Brandeis reused it in his collection of essays called "Other People's Money and How the Bankers Use It". The book attacked the use of investment funds to promote the consolidation of various industries under the control of a small number of corporations, which Brandeis alleged were working in concert to prevent competition (does that ring some bells?). Brandeis harshly criticized investment bankers who controlled large amounts of money deposited in their banks by middle-class people. The heads of these banks, Brandeis pointed out, routinely sat on the boards of railroad companies and large industrial manufacturers of various products, and routinely directed the resources of their banks to promote the interests of their own companies. These companies, in turn, sought to maintain control of their industries by crushing small businesses and stamping out innovators who developed better products to compete against them. That was freaking 110 years ago. Today the quote is commonly understood to represent that "in order to stop corruption in human dealings, bring those dealings out into the open, because people don’t like to let other see them misbehave.” 𝕏 is here to do e𝕏actly that. And we all need to help. This has become much bigger than just buying a stock. No, not a cult. It's a mission. Buckle up.

I called my parents yesterday, it was my Dad's 84th birthday. Told him that I was just back from Austin. He told me that I wasted my time. Then my mom asked me whether I am still making a fool of myself posing as TeslaBoomerMama. I laughed and said that I had a good time and that she should check it out. Her answer "never will I go on that platform, already out of principle". My parents are low key retirees in the Black Forest in Germany. Get all their news from TV and social media (obviously not X). This makes me really sad.

1/5 @ackman's argument why the Fed has to cut in as Q1. -- “What’s happening is the real rate of interest, which is what impacts the economy, keeps increasing as inflation declines,” Ackman said in an upcoming episode of The David Rubenstein Show: Peer-to-Peer Conversations.

@Gabe__MD @freshjiva I think it will be 2024, plus everything points to FSD before 2025 meaning complete destruction of all legacy brands except for Ford, I think they are the ones in talks for FSD. This is pure speculation but I strongly believe that.

Weird, I don’t see $TSLA overvalued at all even if it is just a car company. Simple math gets you to $75B net profit just from 10M cars/trucks & 100 gWh Megapack sales, even without software margins beyond what they already do today. 30x multiple = $2.25T market cap, or a 3X in 7 years. This doesn’t require any imagination; just extrapolation of today’s numbers.
