@drantbradley Agree on both counts, but they did a good job nailing which part of Florida is in the South (North of I-10 east of Tallahassee) and which part isn't (South if I-10 east of Tallahassee).

This is by no means financial advice, and I don't have a position in Tesla one way or the other, - but it seems like whatever reckoning the $TSLAQ bears expect, it might be a reckoning postponed, and one which SpaceX might find itself owning an automobile manufacturer.

...getting the crux of this post. If SpaceX is about to do a $2 TRILLION IPO, and looks like it will have the capability to buy what it wants down the road, do you $TSLAQ shorts really want to be short Tesla stock into the biggest IPO in the history of capitalism?

As both $TSLA and $TSLAQ followers know, I have been skeptical of the timing for the adoption of EVs, and cynical about Tesla's ability to ramp unit growth in their auto biz as expected by the bulls. A short thread worth considering (especially for the naysayers).

One of the best things about Cinco de Mayo, is that I can use the same date format in the US and the UK.

The joys of being deplatformed by @elonmusk. I really used to enjoy providing content here, and learning from others. But clearly those days are behind me.

Fantastic interview by @patrick_oshag of Paul Tudor Jones (@ptj_official). The whole thing is good, and I especially thought the part starting at 38:35 was extremely relevant, today. x.com/i/status/20490…
Patrick OShaughnessy@patrick_oshag

My guest today is Paul Tudor Jones (@ptj_official), one of the greatest macro traders of all time. He correctly predicted the 1987 stock market crash and shorted the Japanese bubble in 1990. For over 40 years, his flagship fund has had a negative correlation to the S&P 500. 100% of his returns are alpha. He says today's market has so many similarities to 2000, "the easiest bear market I've ever seen in my whole life." He makes the case for going long dollar-yen, why Bitcoin beats gold as an inflation hedge, and why he was wrong about Warren Buffett. But what I'll remember most from this conversation is Paul's zest for life. He's 71 and still wakes at 2:30 every morning to trade the London open. He works out for two hours a day. He walks with his wife every evening. He travels the country chasing peak spring and peak fall. He's so excited about the songs picked for his funeral that he wishes he could be there to hear them. Paul has lived five lifetimes in one. He's one of the most entertaining and interesting people I've met, and the conversation will leave you searching to be as passionate about what you do as he is about what he does. Enjoy! "The future not only turned out to be precisely as anticipated, but in some cases exceeded expectations. Yet the share prices of those participating in (or driving) the transformation were driven to wildly exaggerated levels." Our latest is up. albertbridgecapital.com/post/til-death…

It's been a minute since we've posted any of these, and this one is short and sweet. Bottom line, AI is no panacea for traders and stock pickers alike. Our latest Drew's View is up. albertbridgecapital.com/post/ai-and-th…

If Michael Jackson's song "Beat It" were country. This is actually pretty darn good. It may be because I love country, but what do you think?
